Well the story of her birth is the following, some three years ago my husband gave me two rabbits, a female and the other male, unfortunately for us the male rabbit died, therefore we were left only with the female, we put our Rabbit by name Stefany, in all that time of care, affection and grooming that we gave our pet she was growing, her face had been changing and she was no longer a baby, her adult rabbit features began to be noticed sooner than we imagined However, in those three years of life she was still alone, noting her age we decided to find a male for them to mate. So one day my husband went out in his car and when he came back he brought a male bunny that we called flea, only that our bunny was barely a month and a half old and was not of age to mate.
My rabbit Stefany, when she had contact for the first time with the flea, decided to adopt him as a son, so she would lick him to clean it, sleep next to him, warm him with her fur, and sometimes she stopped eating her portions of food to leave them to him. Male bunny, if I learned anything from rabbits, it is that they grow too fast, just like Stefany, my male bunny in a matter of four months developed, and began to woo our rabbit. At home we were always on the lookout for what would happen, until one night we saw them mate, just a matter of a month was enough for Stefany to get pregnant and give birth. In that month Stefany had great changes in her body, increased weight significantly, she slept a little more, did not jump and did not want to run around the garden, with three days until the birth of the young Stefany began to remove part of her fur and the I place it in a corner of its cage forming a kind of nest, it was on May 4 of the current year that my rabbit's beautiful kittens were born.
The so-called young rabbits are born with their eyes closed, completely hairless without any type of fur, their coat is the nest of hairs which their mother arranged, they are animals that in the course of days and weeks develop their Senses of sight, smell and taste, Stefani gave birth to three young rabbits, one white that was the first and the largest to be born, and two later with black and white spots. At home we were very happy with the birth of the pets, we did not have great knowledge about the upbringing and care of our kittens, so on the second day after they were born we consulted a specialist in rabbit care because Stefany did not want to Breastfeeding their young, which is very common in first-time rabbits, you just have to be very careful and wait until you are lying down, put a glove on your hand and put the kits in your breast to feed them. Today my rabbits are huge and they are five months old, without a doubt, rabbits are very territorial animals, they place the ideal space in the cage where they will do their physical needs.
Owning a pet rabbit is not owning a toy, its life must be guaranteed and preserved, take them to the vet for review, put water on them, food suitable for rabbits, clean their cage and of course prepare a good bed of hay where they can rest.
