The Laperal House or better known as the «White house». Laperal House is located on Leonard Road, Baguio, near another so-called haunted- «Teachers Camp». One day the caretaker of Laperal House who lives in another house near here, ordered a guard to cut down a fortune plant on the one side of the house. The call went fine until his wife asked who he was with because he said he heard a woman's voice.
While they were eating at PNKY’s Restaurant opposite the Laperal house, , the clairvoyant saw the woman standing next to him alongside the reflection of the house. According to the story of Vincent Tabor of Lakbay Baguio, «We saw a white figure that is coming down from the attic down to the front entrance,» he recalls. « When I asked him why, he said he saw a woman coming towards us». The Laperal House was built in 1920, when we were still under American occupation.
It is the home of the Laperal family headed by Don Roberto. His wife Dona Victorina is said to love garden fortune plants. The house immediately became a garrison where, they brutally tortured and murdered many, including the Laperal Family. Laperal house is now owned by a business tycoon Lucio Tan.
It is open to the public it hosts the Ifugao Bamboo Carving Gallery, a joint project of the Philippine Bamboo Foundation and Tan Yan Kee Foundation. The exhibit aims to «bring to the attention of the public the increasing importance of bamboo in the preservation of arts and culture of the Cordilleras, prevention of landslides and soil erosion, and pollution control.» The gallery is on the ground floor.
This stone mansion is located in Tiaong, Quezon and is believed to be the oldest house in their area. It was designed in 1920 by a man named Tomas Mapua for the couple Isidro and Juliana Herrera.
Although it survived World War II, it could not hide the damage it had done during the war. Currently, it is believed that the ghosts of the beheaded Japanese soldiers and the Herrera couple, dressed in white, are roaming around the entire household.
To punish the village of Mapaniki for supporting guerillas, the invading Japanese soldiers killed its male inhabitants and brought several of its female inhabitants to Bahay na Pula, then a Japanese army garrison. The females served as comfort women for the soldiers in the house. It is said that many of the women have been abused and killed in the vicinity of this house, mostly Bulakenyas and Nueva Ecijanons. Locals claim that at night they would hear screams of women crying for help.
Situated in the boarders of San Ildefonso and San Miguel in the northern part of Bulacan province, its grandeur has become a permanent stature in the area beaming with elegance and a stylish ‘espanyol’ look that amazes everybody that pass by this house. Aside from representing the past, the Bahay na Pula structure is the stage where the past is reenacted and experienced. The greatest pain was coming from the comfort room upstairs where the compass reading clearly showed that there were manifestations in the area. One of the the victims, a beautiful girl was drowned in that bathtub before being raped.
The particular girl was a favorite of the Japanese soldiers and sexually abused her for about 20 to 30 times a day, until she could take no more. On the last day of her life, the girl detested of being abused and ran towards the bathroom. She was overpowered and was drowned in the bathtub, before being used again for the last time. Other comfort women could only cry in silence as they're taken one by one to be abused, but the said girl suffered the most.
The creepiest area was upstairs in the terrace where an entity was peeking from outside.
People soon said that the Manila Film Center was haunted by the ghosts of the angry construction workers. Visitors hear cries and moans, see apparitions as well as bleeding walls. Many refused to work there or go inside to see films as they consider it the most glamorous burial ground in the country...perhaps even the world.
