Why do intelligent people overthink and worry over a situation?

Most of the Intelligent people think too much.... they decide on something and again in the name of improvisation, they think again about the decision.. this will be never ending... sometimes it leads to reversal and end in an abysmal thinking... it leads to being indecisive and procrastination will be the order of the day...

They worry over nothing being implemented due to indecisiveness. people say them as intelligent and when nothing is achieved by them, they are scared over the branding.. it leads to some people becoming mentally unstable too.
