I have several days dedicating time to my plants. If the poor things could talk they would be shouting. "Finally, you had us in oblivion". Besides removing the weeds I took the opportunity to do damage control of the many plants I had, since many of the cacti and succulents, due to my carelessness, dried out. Today I could not continue removing the remaining weeds because of a rainy weather that prevented me from leaving the house. I was very happy for the rain that fell from the sky to give life and beauty to the few plants that survived.
I am also organizing the space in the yard where my little home garden center will be. I am going to resume my business with plants, specifically cacti and succulents. After cleaning and doing initial inventory, I now have to buy more plants because I plan to do landscaping in the clay pots that I have in inventory.
I have in inventory a lot of material, such as clay pots, plastic pots, I have the colored stones and other elements necessary to make the compositions with the cactus and succulents.
There was a time when I used to take pictures of the arrangements I made and show them on social networks, I even exhibited them in an online store.
This arrangement was inspired by the colors of the flag of my beloved Venezuela. Many people liked it and many of these arrangements adorned their offices at work.
These were inspired by Christmas, they were also very popular...
These were inspired by the colors of the clay flower pots...
Many people also liked these very much...
This is how I started my landscaping business with plants from my home years ago. I made many arrangements, all with a lot of natural beauty as I chose the best cacti and each succulent leaf was delicately cared for with no insect bites or wilting. I made many arrangements with clay pots decorated with Christmas motifs, hand painted, and other pots painted in bright colors. All were recorded in photos and are in my online store but all were purchased by people long before the pandemic.
Then the pandemic hit and my thoughts turned to the health crisis. I no longer had any inspiration to create with plants. And from the start of the pandemic to date I have not created anything. That's why I completely abandoned the landscaping business.
But after thinking about it very well I am going back to resume my business with plants and now with more strength because I want to adapt a space in my backyard to turn it into a small garden center and to be able to take care of the new plants that I will soon buy, in a more appropriate space and with more attention, since I want to expand the variety of cactus and succulents. Also, I am thinking about the people who want to come to my garden and buy a pot decorated with plants to decorate their home or office. I will also retake the space of my virtual store adding new photos of the new creations. If you like to visit the virtual store you can see it at the following link Decojardín del Edén. Hopefully, these ideas will inspire your creativity to start your own decoration business with plants.
Social networks give us endless possibilities to promote a business and one of them is the virtual store. From anywhere in my city an interested person can buy my decorated plants. And also by looking at the photos other people can get ideas and make their own arrangements with the plants they have available at home. Inspiration and creativity is an innate ability that every person has, you just have to start to realize an idea that you have in your mind and let your imagination run. Suddenly you will be surprised of your own ability that you just had it "asleep" and it was always there, waiting for you to start creating with plants.
The next creations I will be recording in photos, step by step, and then publish with detailed content to serve as a model for other people who like to decorate with plants. I plan to paint stones and flower pots and I will be giving you the instructions on how to do it.
I take this opportunity to greet my virtual friend carolinacardoza, a great teacher of creativity with her magic hands, thank you friend for the renewal of sponsorship, again thank you for trusting me. Thanks also to my followers and sponsors who make my box of special people light up. You are the best.
PS: all the published photos are my authorship.
Your creations are super cute. I have also started creating succulent arrangements recently. I haven’t started selling them yet though 😉
