Why Venezuela will be the first bitcoinized nation?
When I arrived in Venezuela on 16th of April 2019 I did so because I was impressed by the thousands of merchants the DASH them led by Lorenzo Rey promised on discoverdash.
I started an investigation on all the places they had listed and found out that many of them were non existent. Same was true for the BCH places that were promoted by an unknown team on marcocoino. I released a ten part investigation on the TRBC YT channel: http://youtube.com/c/BitcoinBeach
Then in autumn 2019 I managed to meet with Lorenzo Rey who had a project called Dash Text running, which allowed anyone with a simple smartphone to participate. That tool impressed me much and still does because the majority of the venezuelan population does not have a smartphone yet and I introduced many street merchants on how to work with that.
So I got a sponsorship by DASH Text who would reimburse my efforts with $200 per month of which I donated the majority to the local merchants.

In 2020 George Donnelly was shut out off the DASH DAO as his work was no longer appreciated by the DASH DAO as his promises didnt catch up with reality.
Also in 2020 a lawyer from Barquisimeto founded the BCH House Barquisimeto sponsored by bitcoin.com and sideshift. He successfully onboarded 100+ merchants until now, he took off onboarding when George Donnelly also started working intensively for the BCH flipstarter that got him funded in late 2020. http://flipstarter.panmoni.com
Panmoni which is the team of George Donnelly has been doing some great work in 2021 by onboarding the old DASH merchants and now he is training and promoting these merchants in Caracas. He definitely learned from the mistakes he made with DASH and we can just hope he wont turn as crazy as before spitting on his employers again.
Me myself I was looking for a place where Barrio Bitcoin that first BCH neighborhood that was established in 2018 in Barcelona, Catalunya, Europe could be revived.
Finally in 2021 I found that perfect town where TRBC would start BCH Beach to make the first bitcoinized town on this planet become a reality: http://cuyagua.net is a surfers beach town so we called it Bitcoin Beach P2P because here we focus on real on chain bitcoin adoption. All coins are accepted by the merchants as TRBC introduced them to sideshift so they can swap to whatever they want anyway.
Today I read the news that the biggest bank of Venezuela with 16 Million customers (80% of adults have an account with them) has been hacked and has been suspending their services for five days, leaving the population in misery because they dont even have paper bills available.
This day, will go down in history, this event will be the strongest argument to convince everyone in Venezuela that bitcoin is the future. Banking hacks happen every day all around the world and usually the banks avoid to release the news. But in Venezuela as the banks like to spit on each other here, they promoted the incident on all news papers.

The president Nicolas Maduro has also been promoting bitcoin and ethereum mining on national tv and radio shows frequently. They integrated BTC, DASH, LTC already in 2019 into the PETRO app. They also protect miners from abuse by corrupt special forces, the venezulan government strongly supports Bitcoin in its natural form without obliging anyone like the president of El Salvador recently did, which created a nasty public relations conflict.

It's a great decision that Venezuela will adapt cryptocurrency because it's the best way to use specially BCH in P2P transactions. Citizens of Venezuela willnolonger worry about their money on the banks because they already hold their own money in digital wallet. It would help to increase the economy of Venezuela and also can prevent loosing money on banks. it's better for Venezuelan government to have strong security force against hackers cause it might show once the cryptocurrencies will fully legalized and widely used by citizen.
