Over the past years, there are a lot of things that happened in our country and around the world. Therefore, in this article, I will share with you some of the historical events that makes our lives difficult. From the eruption of Mayon volcano, Taal Volcano, Covid-19 pandemic, and Monkeypox.

There a lot of historical events that happen all at once and here are they:

Mayon Volcano Eruption

The Mayon volcano is an active volcano located in the province of Albay in Bicol Region. By being a perfect cone" it became a popular tourists spot in the Philippines. But, then, it was erupted on January 2018 which caused thousands of families in many barangays were affected by the eruption. They returned to their homes after a month, when the Philvocs downgraded the alert level status of the volcano.

Covid-19 Pandemic

Then, the Covid-19 pandemic happens that subsequently spread worldwide. This was first reported in Wuhan, China and may have originated in bats. The common way that this will spread through a close contact with a person who has the infection. But, this can be transmitted through coughing wherein the  droplets might be enter to your mouth or nose. Thus, if you knew that you have been expose to the virus or you feel any of the common symptoms of it, such as fever, breathlessness, cough, sore troat, chills, etc. then you must isolate yourself.

We have been living in this pandemic for almost two years with no definite end. All of us are affected in a various ways, most of the infected people recovered from it, but some of them were died and the worst scenario was they didn't get into the hospital. It is really frustrating that we are not be able to enjoy the good old days, and roam around the in the streets without being scared that we might catch the disease.

Taal Volcano Eruption

After 2 year from the previous eruption Mayon eruption, the Taal volcano immediately followed. It is located in Batangas, Philippines but the damaged reached the people in CALABARZON wherein the volcanic smog can be seen in most of the area . It was happened early January in the year 2020, that lead the destruction of many infrastructure, livelihoods, and shortage in the supply of water.

Monkeypox

Lastly, the ongoing outbreak of Moneypox, it was last confirmed on May 2022, and the source of this disease is still unknown. According to World Organization of Health, it can be transmitted to human to humans through close contact with an infected person or animal, or with material contaminated with the virus. A person whom infected by monkeypox will get a rash in different parts of the body. Before it, they will exhibit symptoms after of their exposure to the virus. We must always take safety precautions to be able to protect ourselves and the people around us.

We are not still Covid-19 free but here is the another infectious disease that will makes our life even more difficult...

Conclusion:

It is really hard to be part of a major historical events, it caused us so much pain, misery, and sadness which we will take it in the future. It is not something to be boast about just because we just became part of it specially, it was a bad things that happened in our history. But what makes us proud is how we got though and overcome it.

I am hoping that we will be better in time, but for now lets take safety precautions as stated by experts.

History which involves diseases and calamities is essential because it can literally serves as a reference for the future. What I don't like is learning history which involves heavy politics.

Heavy politics, like the debacle about Martial Law. Debates and arguments fought between educated people are interesting but nowadays it has become a battle of trolls from both sides.

Yeah, I got your point, I would like to add that Martial Law should not be forgotten as there real victims who died during that time because of the people who abused their power.

I also saw many Phillipines people posting about the storms and typhoons. Living as a human has become tougher and nature is also not with us. One thing against these virus, eat clean and well so that your body has high immune system that's the best guard against them.
