Essence of Feminism!

Undoubtedly, the various revolutions that took place in the past have had a significant impact on our society today. The feminist movement has significantly aided in the advancement of gender equality. For instance, as stated in the readings, the effects of the feminist movement in the West include women's suffrage, greater access to education, nearly equal pay with men, the right to file for divorce and get a "no fault" divorce, the right to decide how to have children, and the right to own property.

Women now use feminism as a platform from which to speak out against the occasional hurdles they still encounter. It is genuinely challenging to understand since, despite the fact that everyone is born with their own rights, women are regrettably pressured to struggle for those rights. They were able to win the rights they deserved because to the movement on women's resistance to the patriarchal society. Women now have the fundamental rights that they did not have in the past, but we are still far behind although some may believe that we are already in the feminist period. Women still encounter sexism, unfairness, and prejudice every day in the millions of situations. Men continue to earn more than women in the workplace, for instance, due to the gender pay gap.

Women are still subjected to discrimination when seeking for jobs. Every day, women are still subjected to catcalling. These are only a few of the factors that hurt women in society and supported male domination. Due to its advantages for both sexes, feminism has historically been significant and continues to be so in modern society. As it works to replace the gender norms that have been in place for so long, feminism empowers everyone rather than advocating for the supremacy of women over men. It takes a lot of work to finally abolish these gender norms because their impact has been firmly ingrained in society and most people still uphold them. Men who want to address these pervasive problems and worries that affect both men and women can join feminism as well as women.

All people will eventually realize how serious the issue is when they start to realize how important feminism is in the society they live in. They can't solve the issue when even decisions on issues involving women's bodies, like abortion, are made by males who don't have uteruses. A gender-equal society should be inclusive.
