There are many opportunities for a person to do things that are not appropriate for his or her character. Perhaps his actions were the result of his feelings or emotions. So all of a sudden he says, "did I do that?" or "did I say that?" Anyone who hears this statement says that he has just lost his temper or that this person is no longer thinking.
In addition to the body, man is given a soul that sets him apart from other creatures. It is also the source of human spiritual nature. From this also comes the human being of the essential intellect such as intellect, and will or will and conscience. Because of the mind, man has the ability to think, to examine, to research and to know the truth. Man develops himself by discovering things that are good for him and for others.
The will or will enables the person to make, decide and carry out whatever he or she decides. As such, it is assumed that human beings are responsible for every decision or choice of action. Man is free to practice but he is not free to choose the outcome of his action, so one must think before deciding or acting.
Human beings are also provided with a conscience that gives them a warning or a warning whether they are right or wrong. It requires the proper shaping in order for the judgment to be correct. Its formulation is in accordance with three principles: the object, the intention or the purpose and the event and consequently the dictates of conscience can be erroneous.
When a person often does something wrong, he or she may make the wrong decision. This happens when he or she does not pray, refuses to check their true purpose or refuses to receive counsel.
An important part of being human is not the "tool" to be used accordingly. Through the body, man can reveal his relationship to other creatures and to God. This is what St. Paul emphasized to the Corinthians, when he said that "the body is a temple of the holy spirit received from God". If the body is an instrument of doing what is supposed to be done by man, it is expected to be right and good.
The spiritual and material nature of man helps to make his character come true.
There are many potential gifts to man that make him unique to other creatures. It is a challenge for him to be a creature of the sense and the freedom to take on the chosen work for the development of himself and his neighbor.
Man has the ability to feel and know things because he has emotions, inner and outer emotions. Information is conveyed to the intellect as a result of the feeling.
