Fitness: 2nd October 2021 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

Today happens to be a holiday over here as 2nd October is also celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti, the birthday of the Mahatma. It falls on Saturday this year, and my daughter wanted the government to compensate Gandhiji by celebrating his birthday on Monday. Why? Because you can't celebrate the Mahatma's birthday on a holiday; instead, it should be a holiday on a working day. 😊 Some logic to get more holidays.

Anyway, my daughter's cute reasoning notwithstanding, the day was a happy holiday for all the hardworking people in our country. And therefore, I could see a lot more new faces out for a morning walk today. Health, especially in the current almost dormant life hit by COVID, demands that we focus on it. I am glad that more people are taking it seriously.

So, after my morning walk, I went some grocery shopping and quickly returned for some meditation time. I couldn't get on with meditation right away as few chores were screaming right at me. What did I do? I did the next best thing. I got on with the tasks with a headphone listening to Subliminals. I reiterate the warning. Do not listen to Subliminals while driving or doing work requiring focus. It could be dangerous. I was doing some simple chores. Hence the multi-tasking. Subliminals work best if you focus on what you are hearing as much as evoke a feeling of having what the Subliminal is talking about. For example, if you listen to Subliminal on health, you've got to feel and think healthy at that moment. Works even better. Remember that.

By mid-day, I was ready for some meditation. Even if I wasn't prepared, my headache pushed me to meditation. I don't know how but meditating, especially the third-eye guided meditation, seems to give me instant relief. This is one of the reasons I count it as one of the most potent things that we can do for ourselves. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.
