Fitness: 21st October 2021 + A Did You Know Fitness Question
Today was a reasonably busy day, and I guess I was on the move right from the morning. I felt that I may not need exercise today with the kind of running around I was doing. After all, I was doing all types of work that would easily fall in the bucket of stamina and weight exercise.
But then again, you know that teeny-tiny part of my mind and heart wasn't ready to accept that explanation (or excuse). So, I did get on with my exercise after all.
So, what did I do?
I started with weights and did more reps than I usually do. I was happy with the progress. The crunches were feeling particularly easy today, and since I do crunches with weights, I was all the more surprised. :)
I followed the triplet form of exercise, and here is what I did.
The triplets for today:
3. Abs (extra reps)
The progress with weights especially is quite good. Stamina improvement is also quite visible. The COVID restrictions, work-from-home, and unavailability of gyms make it all the more important to work out at home. Moreso, as I work most of the time on my laptop. So, yeah, I am trying my best, and I guess I will get it to the grueling level that I so love.
After the workout, I did some Ho'oponopono sessions. There were some new issues (or blocks) that I was facing in my life which I had to clean up. Ho'oponopono helped. For those that don't know what Ho'oponopono is, here is my writeup on the same. Have a read and also do your research around this energy exercise.
The record for the most switch grip pull-ups is held by Ron Cooper of Massachusetts, USA. Ron completed 26 pull-ups in one minute. He is also the holder of two other records, which we had discussed in my earlier articles.
Ron holds more than 23 records, and we will be looking closely at each in the coming few days.
