Fitness: 20th September 2022 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

I got one more day of dry roads for a proper run. Over the past few months, I avoided using the flyovers because of the wet conditions. However, today it was dry enough for me to venture. It was such a pleasant feeling running over flyovers once again.

The best cardio resistance training is running over flyovers. The inclines present a significant challenge to our stamina, and overcoming them is such a boost. I was missing these inclines. For now, I got them back.

So, what did I do today?

I ran four kilometers today morning. Interestingly, my speed was quite good, considering the flyovers. I went over three flyovers in both directions and still managed to do the distance in twenty minutes. That translates to a speed of 12 kilometers per hour. Not bad!

Once home, I was on to my weights quite quickly. Like yesterday, the focus continues to be on my abs and arms. I did add on few sets of planks to the schedule. My resistance band is still to be bought, so no resistance training for a few more days.

In the end, I got a few sessions of Ho'oponopono going. Well, you can't really wind up without Ho'oponopono. Here's my write-up on the topic for those interested in knowing about Ho'oponopono.

Did You Know?

Okay, this is one of the unexpected records but interesting nonetheless. The fun part is not many of you would know about it. Did you know there is a record for going up a flight of stairs with a person on your head? Yeah, there is.

Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co, both brothers, hold the record. The brother went up 100 stairs while balancing the other on his head. The record was created on 23rd December 2021. The Vietnam nationals went up 100 stairs in just 53.6 seconds.
