Just recently I announced the launch of my science fiction and horror magazine on the decentralized web 3.0 called Friday The 13th, which is hosted on the IPFS using the Pinata cloud and through the Unstoppable Domains and In my post on how to buy domain names from Unstoppable Domains I actual showed you an example of me buying a domain name. That domain name was fridaythe13th.coin and I though it would have been great to continue with that domain. Furthermore, if you remember that in my first announcement before the launch I mentioned the native support on Brave browser and the resolver setting to view the website.

However in my launch post I have mentioned the Unstoppable chrome extension, now so of you might be confused about that or someone of you might be trying to view the website natively without any success. Here's why?

Polygon integration

As you may remember that Polygon Layer2 solution was integrated to solve the gas fee issue that were going insane because of Ethereum.

However, as it turns out that through it solves a lot of issues it also creates an incompatibility for the hosted websites.

What this means is that the websites on the domains that are minted on Polygon can only be viewed with the Unstoppable extension as the other solutions only works with the Ethereum blockchain.

This hampers a few things

I honestly favor the native support in the browser through the resolver and moreover it is a better and more seamless option.

To be fair to Unstoppable Domains they have just started integrating the Polygon blockchain it would take take some time to iron it out.

And I still believe in the Unstoppable Domains and what they are trying to accomplice and will continue to support them.

But it would have been better if they would have announced this this early on so that people would have kept their expectation at reasonable level.

Future of the magazine

The magazine is still live and can be visited by installing the unstoppable extension to the browser and typing in http://fridaythe13th.coin into the address bar

And the second issue for the January 2022 will come and hopefuly either the January or February issue can be viewed issue will be viewed natively, as it is expected that the Unstoppable Domains will get their act together.
