The Tara River allows for almost 100 kilometers of cruising by rafting boats. The Tara gorge can be divided into two parts - upper and lower. There are two starting points for rafts, kayaks, canoes, hydrospeeds and other vessels. In the upper part of the gorge is the starting point in the center of Splavište near Djurdjević Tara, where rafting tours begin, which run through the entire Tara gorge. Such tours throughout the gorge last at least two days with an overnight stay at the Radovan Luka camp in the Durmitor National Park. Upon departure from Djurdjević Tara, all rafting participants pay a fee, entrance fee and insurance, which together amount to approximately EUR 60 per person. An overnight stay in the Radovan Luka camp is EUR 27 per person, so the prices of rafting arrangements along the entire gorge are much higher compared to rafting arrangements in the lower part of the gorge. In the upper part, near the camp Radovan Luka, there is the deepest part of the gorge.

Most, između sela Budečevica i Trešnjica, zahvaljujući nizu događaja odavno je ušao u legendu. Dugo vremena u narodu je kružila priča da je most delo Lazara Jaukovića, koji ga je i srušio, zbog čega je streljan. Ipak, reč je o delu inženjera Mijata Trojanovića koji je sagradio most, a u vreme njegovog rušenja bio u nemačkom logoru.

Čuveni most iz onog partizanskog filma. A rijeka Tara je sestra blizankinja rijeci Neretvi, po boji, dužini toka, flori i fauni, raftingu. Samo nekoliko brda zapadnije od Tare izvire Neretva.
