Self love means valuing your personal perfections and accepting your imperfections, taking care of your own self without trying any hard for other people to accept you. Self love means being contented on what you are and what you have. Self love is freeing yourself from toxic / unhealthy relationships by letting them go for them not to bring you down.

Ways on how to love yourself.

1. Prioritize your self first

There is no wrong if we prioritize ourselves first. If you focus in yourself, you will not mind on other else's business. We know for a fact that it is not okay minding someone else's life. Also with, when someone else's wants to mind our own life, it is exhausting right?, it isn't healthy. When you prioritize yourself, you can easily think on what's good for you and what is not. Reach your goals, you are always be closer to your dreams no matter how big or small your steps are.

2. Never compare yourself to anyone

Every person has its own uniqueness. The only person you need to compared yourself with is the person whom you were before. Comparing yourself to others will give you the tendency to look down on yourself, you can't help but see the good ones on others and the negative ones on yours. You need to focus on yourself, everyone of us have their own different breaks.

3. Always keep in mind that you are valuable

Always remind yourself that you are precious, no matter who you are or how you look. What you think or know about yourself won't destruct on what others may think about you. Be confident and be happy.

4. Don not mind on what others are saying about you

You are not born to please anyone. You do not live if you keep on living the life others will want you to be. If you didn't pissed off someone else, then you are living the life they want you to be but if you made someone hates you because of what you have done, then you are living on your own standards. But please bear in mind that, it is okay to live the life on your own personal terms as long as you are not affecting someone's life negatively.

5. Remember that you are not perfect

"Nobody is perfect," as what the saying goes. Yes no one is really perfect, everybody has done their own mistakes. Making mistakes means that you are trying, it can also teach a person a lesson and will make him / her grow. Making mistakes makes a person more wise and smart but remember that a person who makes mistakes all over again, then he's not learning after all rather than just making things to happen. If you keep on making mistakes and you always say that "nobody is perfect" then you really are not learning. Everyone should learn from their own mistakes. Lesson you will gain from going mistakes are priceless.

6. Have trust in yourself in everything you do

We have to admit that sometimes we can't help ourselves but doubt our own abilities in doing if what is right. You know yourself better than anyone else. The first person who to must believe us is ourselves. If you do not trust yourself, then how will people trust you also?

7. Feel every pain and happiness as you can

Allow yourself to be fully feel things out. If you are in pain, you can cry as much as you could until the heartaches inside will disappear. On the other hand, do not limit yourself but let yoursel feel happiness.

8. Make your circle not too big, make it small.

Quality over quantity. Allow only persons in your life who deserves you and whom you deserve. Let go of toxic people in your life, do not ever ever be afraid of losing them, they are not healthy in your social circle. Always remember to protect your energy at all cost. It is not always wrong to remove yourself from scenarios or people who are draining you.

Self love is equivalent to self respect. Never let anyone be okay on disrespecting you. If a person made you feel disrespected, remove them from your circle, you do not need someone with that mean attitude.

9. Be kind to yourself

Aside from choosing to be kind on others, do not forget to be kind also on yourself. Do not do things that you dislike. Never be too harsh on yourself. Celebrate small occassions, success etc.

10. Determine your weakness and strengths

Jot down your weakness and strength. Treat your strengths as your key to success. For your weakness / flaws, acceptance will always be the key. No one will make your flaws bring you down when you finally accept those flaws that you have.

*Always believe in yourself, even if you feel that you are not that capable for your achieving dreams, always think that you have gone so far and still surviving.

Be patient with yourself, always remember that. Self love do not happen overnight, with the right attitude, you will slowly achieve your goals ( loving yourself )

It is okay to love yourself but not to the extent that you may be labeled as a narcissist. Too much is also never that healthy.

Lastly, when you love yourself, you must be healthy, (physically, mentally or socially.) Do what makes you happy without letting someone down.
