Compared to banana q, turon is equally beloved as a homemade snack and may even be more popular since its lighter on the tummy and a little easier to make. Im our household growing up, turon is being served as midday snack and dessert more often than banana q.

I love this merienda too. Especially if with langka. Aside from being yummy, this one's cheap and easy to prepare. No wonder this one is a Pinoy favorite.
