Has your Android slowed down? Try these three tricks

If your Android smartphone or tablet suddenly starts to show clear signs of slowing down, it's time to go to "Options" for a short time. The first thing you want to do is empty the cache. Clearing your cache can pretty much speed up your favorite Android. To clear the cache created by external applications.

Clear cache

Enter device settings and select Storage. Then select 'Internal storage' and 'Cached data'. When your smartphone asks if you are sure about clearing the application cache, confirm by pressing OK. Be careful that deleting the cache application does not delete data such as login information. The data of the applications themselves, ie profile information, can be deleted in the same place, but be careful that deleting them could cause problems such as searching the apartment for the paper on which you wrote the password in pencil six months ago.

Delete unnecessary documents and applications

Once you've cleared the data created by external apps, it's time to delete apps you don't need. Before you get down to business, take a look at the list of apps that take up your device. Enter the settings and press 'Storage' and see which programs take up the most space there. Deleting applications frees up space and available RAM on your device. Android, like any other operating system, discreetly uses the free space of your phone to speed up daily operations. If you free up enough space, your device will probably run faster. When it comes to apps, take a look at photos and other recorded files as well. Sync photos and videos with apps like Google Photos.

Reset the device

Before resorting to the final attempt to solve the problem, reset the device by turning it off and on. If you notice that the smartphone works faster after the reset, the problem is solved. If not, it's time for a factory reset. Back up your data before doing so. Then reset the device by going to Settings, General Management and finally - Reset. Then select 'Reset settings'. If that doesn't work, do a 'Factory data reset' to delete everything, including applications. If the phone still runs slowly, contact service.
