Random Exercise
It's that time of day again. You're drained, you're demotivated, and you are just lost in thoughts without thinking about anything at all. It is that time of day when I could say a lot, I could type a lot, but I am not saying anything at all. Nothing makes sense, nothing at all.
And it's hard to be in that state when you are trying to write an article. Article about what? Nothing. What can I say about nothing? Of course nothing. In times like this one, I need help. I need to keep my creative juices flowing. And that's the reason why I am still typing without any clear direction. Maybe an idea will spark inside me, maybe a concept will pop out of nowhere and will inspire me to write.
Alright, I have waited long enough and I think that there is no big idea coming upon me. And with that, let's just freewrite with some guide words using my friendly word generator. Let me also limit the subject to "exercise" since I went back to exercising this morning. Let's try to connect the random words to the subject exercise.
Term.
Fits perfectly for the first term. The term I decided to focus this article on is "exercise". I really don't know if in what term I am going to correlate exercise with the word term, will it be in terms of the language itself, or will it be in terms of metaphors? Well, what do you know? In terms of having something to say, I think that I have said enough in terms of connecting "term" and "exercise", NOT.
Acquaintance.
Exercising is a fun activity. Yes, it is if you exclude the excruciating body pains and ruthlessly waking up in the ungodly hours of the morning. It is said that exercising releases some types of hormones that can lift up our moods and make our days better. It is also said that it can pump up our adrenaline causing our bodies to be more active and alert. Again, I said it's a fun activity. But exercising with many more people will be better than exercising alone. Have you ever seen a group of people doing Zumba or Taebo? Seen anybody from the group that is not enjoying and is frowning? I think not.
Exercising is also a way to make friends and make an acquaintance. I still remember the friends I made through tagging along with my parents whenever they go for a jog in the morning. I became friends with 3 sisters and their cousins, that way. We were all of the same age back then, we're all in high school and just like me, they were just tagging along with their folks during their morning runs.
From time to time, we gather together for occasions and I often go to their house to visit. Fun and fond times. And all those memories came from exercising.
Welcome.
Another good thing about exercising is the community. There's no registration form to fill out, there are no membership fees to keep, and there's no application needed. Just dress up, tie your shoes nice and tight and go on for a run, a jog, or just dance. The community of people who are exercising is just welcoming. If you see a group of people running around the park, you can run behind them or alongside them and you'll surely get a smile or a friendly nod. If you see a group of Titas doing Zumba, then, by all means, you can join in on the beat and move yourself to fitness. No one will prohibit you or exclude you from anything. You are just welcome to join in.
You don't have to hesitate and you don't have to be shy. After all, you are all working towards the same goal - a healthy lifestyle.
Superior.
Exercise fits perfectly with this word. Why? Just exercise continuously and properly and you will achieve a superior mind and body. That's the guarantee of exercise. If you don't achieve it in three months or so, then at the very least, you will be much healthier than you are if you are leading the sedimentary lifestyle.
And while we're at it. Not all types of exercise will be good for all people. To some people, just running a few miles a day will be impossible and dangerous. You should gauge your own bodies and capabilities first. If you want to be sure, you can always visit a physician to consult on what exercise will be the best fit for your body type and overall condition.
Abandon.
Let me say this again, I have written this article randomly with no set goals and points in mind to be made. But if reading this article makes you want to abandon life on the chair or the couch and this makes you want to hit the road or the pavement and exercise, then ... you're very much welcome. I hope to see you around and let's get fit together. :)
Hi!!
Are you ready for tonight? I'm halfway there.
I appreciate you being here and I want to take this opportunity to greet you a Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and a Happy holidays otherwise.
