Alright, so I was stuck at work and I had a bad case of the lazies. I did my job, I did my work, of course, but it was also that slow kind of a day at the office. There are just some minor concerns here and there that were attended to and solved in a short duration of time and with a minimum effort and aside from those, the whole day was just like passing time and waiting for the Christmas season to arrive.
Amidst the laziness that I caught, I was struck by the itch to write, hence this very random article. But I still have no specific topic in mind to use in this particular article so I am just freewriting, diary-style.
I fired up Noise.cash and scrolled through updates from my fellow users of the platform. There are different genres of writing, tons of themes to read but of course, as usual, the majority of the posts I've seen are about cryptocurrencies and the next big chunk of the posts are about users' day-to-day life and activities, such as this one.
I interacted with some users and some of my friends there, posted tell-tales of randomness, dropped hearts here and there, and then decided to leave since I wasn't getting any solid inspiration from there.
And then I went to Youtube to look for videos to watch but then it hit me that I was too energetic to sit down and watch a full documentary. All I did was watch shorts and it felt like I was on Tiktok, beautiful ladies dancing and all. And I escaped before the rabbit hole sucked me in too deep.
I even skipped lunch trying to get that very topic to write. Still a bust.
The afternoon came and I was absorbed doing my daily quest on Splinterlands. That reminds me, I need to rent some golden cards today because the season is ending already. How I wish to get a cold card of my own, but I wouldn't want my BCH to go to the cards that I don't use, at least not now. Maybe I'll rethink that decision when BCH pumps again and makes a trip to the moon.
My colleagues are just so lucky that they pulled such cards from daily quests' loot chests. It's times like this that I curse my luck when it comes to draws, raffles, lotteries, and all those luck-based sorts of things.
The pizza and fries came and I still have no idea what to write about. So I just joined my colleagues to sit down (apart) and I munched on pizza slices and fries. We talked about things like Axie, rumors and such, and some random stuff. Since there were just 4 of us eating, we could not even finish the single box of pizza. I'm so full, I still am. I guess that I have to skip dinner again tonight.
I then went on Telegram and hopped through different channels and groups. I was seriously lurking just looking for something to trigger my imaginative and creative mind, but there's nothing there. Not that I was really keenly invested in anyway.
Then I tried to go to Torum. But I am still new to the platform so I was easily lost and I left confused and was longing for something that I really know and felt comfortable with. I knew that it's time to go back to the place that I feel so at home with and a place that soothes everything in me. It was also the place that I spent all my time with when I was down sick with the virus and was stuck at home. It gave me the entertainment I needed, it took me to places that I have never been, and it gave me a lot to look forward to. With countless stories and writings from well-read authors, I was never out of something to be immersed with.
That being said, I brought up the browser and clicked on the tab where read.cash was opened, clicked on the "write" menu, and then selected "full article" and then I began writing this one. And you know...the rest is in the beginning. You may read the first part to get with the program.
Hey there!!
What a day right? There was absolutely nothing of interest that happened that working day. It was just cool, cold, and was really pretty slow. But if you know where I work and who my boss is, I pray that you don't send this article to that person. Let's just keep it between us friends okay?
Anyway, your presence here means a lot to me! I do hope that you know that. I really appreciate whenever I see you here, and that makes me want to have a celebratory drink, here's to us ...
Cheers!!!
