Drawing and coloring Spike Siegel (Cowboy Bebop)

Some may recognize him and others may not, but without a doubt this is one of the most charismatic characters known in the world of animation, and we are talking about Spike Siegel, protragonist of the acclaimed cult series Cowboy Bebop, which came to appear in 1998 in Japanese television channels, and then in recent years had its LiveAction by Netflix, which left much to be desired for fans of the series.

As for the image that I am going to show you next, the original was obtained from the Internet (without remembering exactly if it came from Facebook, Telegram, etc), so I decided to make a replica, and in which you can see each step that could be done.

As we can see below the first thing I did was a sketch using a 2H pencil on a sheet of recycled paper (being used in the back); and once I got the image we needed I proceeded to color with Prismacolor and Crayola colored pencils.

What I must tell you is that I had my doubts about some colors that should be placed in certain areas such as the top of the hair, the tail (filter) of the cigar and the eyes of the characters, because sometimes it is difficult for me to identify some colors. Does anyone else have the same problem?

In short, it took me several days to be able to do this work because it took me my time and it also depended on the mood I was in.
