I already knew that this language is confusing so I made a continuation for you.
The first confusing thing is this letter "γ " right? It is stated that you're not going to read it when it was placed in the initial position. Meanwhile, you're to read it when it was placed after a vowel.
Example
Let's go back to the word annyeonghaseyo
In Hangul this is the spelling of that word. "μλ νμΈμ". That word means "hello"

The picture shows the word annyeonghaseyo with its corresponding korean letter. Look at the picture and observe carefully.
The confusing part is how it become like this "μλ νμΈμ". It's because that this letter "γ " is mandatory to use to fix a syllable that starts with a vowel.

Again, always remember that this korean letter "γ " is used to fix a syllable that starts with a vowel.
