The Magic Pill: Secrets Revealed

Lucy checks on her stuff as soon as she gets home. She can't be wearing her school uniform in the woods..

• Flashlights

• swiss knife

• Mini first aide kit

• containers

• Water

• Bread

• Mini towel

• Extra shirt

These are the things she filled her bag with. She left messing up her bed with books and other school stuffs.

Her heart pounding so loud as she make her way to Erin's house. The uncertainty of what they're going to face tonight makes her nervous. There's a lot running inside of her mind. Anxiety is rising within her. Her mind filled with what ifs..

"what if the worms had swarmed the forest?"

"what if it didn't just eat fat but including all types of animals?"

"what if they became bigger 10x their size?"

"what if they evolved into some type of creature that is stronger and attack them?"

She has to be ready for the worst case scenarios. These creatures had made them look good but she's afraid it would turn into something terrible that would get them into trouble. She included a small baseball bat in her list just in case they get involved into some serious action. Can't imagine how she would move with a heavy body and backpack in such situation.

Lucy stopped herself from overthinking. It just made her more nervous. Her hands slightly trembling as she press the doorbell. Erin opened the door and greeted her with a grin. She dragged her inside of the house and led her straight to the couch.

She was surprised.. Erin's still in her pajamas, what made her more confused is that she's still in perfect shape. "How did she do it? Has she been into the woods and found the worms?, she thought. Why haven't you changed, I thought we're gonna go after school..

... and by the way..I thought you said you turned into your old self?.. "

Erin just smirked and told her to wait. She looks around and found a familiar backpack. "That backpack...." Her thought got interrupted by Erin coming with a large tray of food.

"Let's just have some dinner first, I'm really hungry" she held her stomach like a hungry child does, then went back to the kitchen to get some more food and drinks.

Lucy continued looking around. She couldn't get her eyes off that very familiar backpack hanging at the back of the door.

Erin filled the table with all their favorites. A bucket of glazed chicken wings, she could finish it all in minutes. Pizza oozing with cheese, burgers and steak. Erin surely have a lot of money to consume this big in a day. Lucy kept herself still as she waits for Erin to came out of the kitchen. She thought there's something off happening today.

These foods they're going to eat, it will make her weak. They looked really tempting but she has to control herself or else she's gonna have a big problem later. She has to be ready with what's going to happen when they attack the woods. But why is she giving me a lot?? , she thought. Her anxiety is becoming worst. She can sense something really bad is gonna happen. Her heart pounding so loud that she could hear it.

Lucy hears tiny scratches from that large shoe cabinet near the door. Might be a mouse or rat. She ignored it and took a garlic bread stick. Erin came back with a tower of cocktail.

Lucy checks on her phone. She was surprised to see 14 missed calls from Mike. She checked on the messages..

"Where are you going? Can I go with you?"

"Why are you in a hurry??"

She stopped looking at her phone as Erin gave her a weird look. She looks pissed off or something.

"Is that Mike, you're texting with?" Erin asks.

"Oh, Mike just asked if he could come...well, this is just a few hours ago and I didn't notice so maybe he just went home by now."

"Oh you and Mike must have become really close after the party." her right eyebrow raised and her tone full of sarcasm.

Lucy saw the way Erin looks at her. She's mad. Her eyes were furious after seeing her trying to send a response to Mike.

Lucy stood and cut off Erin when she tries to say something. "I think I should just go home."

"No! Sit down and eat!" she grabbed her shoulder and pinned her at the couch. Her grip on her shoulders hurt.

She stands up again full of confusion. "Why are you acting like this, Erin? You could just tell me so we can fix this issue right now. You know what, you've been acting weird ever since you took that pill. What is your problem? "

"I'll have to go, let's just do this some other time." She rolled her eyes and went straight to the door. Lucy got pissed off with the way Erin approaches her today. She noticed another familiar shoe on the corner. She ignored it but when she opened the door a loud thud and scream came out from where she is standing.

" Jeanny! " she whispers when she realised something. She saw Erin threw away all the food in the table. She screamed out of anger.

"Where is Jeanny?!" Erin must have done something to her. But why? That, she needed to figure out.

Erin gave her a loud, evil laugh. "That girl she sneaked into my house trying to steal my pills."

Before the party. Erin came home from school to change imto her party dress. She caught Jeanny trying to ransack her room looking for the magic pills. She ran out of pills that night but she does have one large pet worm ready to lay eggs for her. All she needed is flesh to reproduce. She didn't have a hard time inviting anyone else to feed her worm with.

Erin slammed her head with a frying pan that made her unconscious. She dragged and tied her up inside the shoe cabinet. She took a pill and kept the worm in a box. Then off she went to pick up Lucy and they went to Mike's party.

"What did you do to her?"...

Erin grabbed Lucy's shoulder and pushed her back inside. She stood right next to the door to block it.

"You know what, Lucy, I got tired of being your friend. Since the day you stole Mike from me I started to hate you. How I wish I never gave you the pills. And now you're here asking me to help you!" Erin bursts into anger.

Lucy turned around having a hard time getting up. She faced and raised her voice to command her to stop.

"Stop this madness, Erin. I never knew your feelings about Mike. We are just friends..! "

"... for now, Lucy! I can see that he's really into you. He likes you. So I think I should better feed you to my worms just like what I did to Jeanny!"

Erin opened one door of the shoe cabinet. She took out a box. Lucy screams in horror as she sees Erin taking out the biggest worm she have ever seen. It's bigger than those that came out after taking the pills. Erin is just about to throw it to her face when she suddenly blacked out and collapsed. Mike showed off from behind Erin holding Lucy's baseball bat. The worm slowly crawled to her but Mike splattered the monster with the bat.

They tied Erin and called the police. Jeanny's legs still full of the worm's eggs. The eggs were the pills they were taking. Lucy was disgusted to know that those pills are from a human flesh.

The ambulance and police officers came immediately to rescue them. Erin was taken into a mental facility and put into treatment. Jeanny's right leg was seriously damaged. Thankfully it was only her leg being laid eggs on. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Lucy thanked Mike for saving her.

"Thank you. How did you happen to be here?" Lucy asks.

"I saw you walking fast and I went after you. I remember Jeanny had disappeared and I'm worried about you. You seemed to be bothered and out of focus, you couldn't hear me calling your name.."

"I was here waiting for you to come out but when the door opened and I saw Erin had pushed you so I grabbed your baseball bat when she tried to throw that monster into your face... I just couldn't afford to see you get eaten by that creepy thing."

Mike liked her ever since. She was smart, cheerful and kind. Only Lucy isn't confident enough to make friends especially with boys like him. He was an MVP, a popular varsity player, she's just an honor student who loves to eat...

Police officers found a few worms inside Erin's room. And both Lucy and Mike saw Erin's obsession towards him by the wallpapers - it's specially customized with Mikes photos.

Lucy tells the police about the worms that were thrown away in the woods. They were taken away and burned to stop the reproduction.

1 MONTH LATER..

Mike waits at the hallway. Lucy came running late again. They have been dating since that day he saved her.

"What took you so long, again? You always do this everyday." Mike complains.

"Sorry about that. I had to complete my routine. This diet thing sucks babe, I hate it."

"You shouldn't. Look at you now, this is better than taking the pills and throwing up monsters, ew!" he messed up her hair and laughed to tease her.

Mike had taught Lucy to practice proper diet and took her to the gym. That way she started losing weight naturally.
