Time now is 12:40 pm (PH time) in my clock..
My policeman brother is assigned in Zamboanga del Sur. A place that is very far away from home. The place of his assignment is a rural area but not a very remote one. He was actually in a highway checkpoint.
When he came home, he once told us a story during their night shift.
He was on duty one night along with his three buddies. Their outpost is located near the Barrio Hall. There were CCTVs installed for their safety.
That place is a little deserted especially this time of pandemic since people are kept home early due to curfew hours. At 7 p.m. the highway starts becoming silent with less cars and trucks passing by.
At the back of the outpost the two policemen took their nap as my brother and his buddy are doing the checkpoint. They installed hammocks on the array of trees at the back of their outpost.
It was 1 a.m. when there were no more passersby on that area. My brother and his partner took a short nap on their chairs. It was too silent and dark, but according to him, he got used to it. He took the chance to close his eyes in the side of a cold and empty street while there were no cars and trucks.
While they close their eyes and the other two have already reached dream land on their hammocks, the barangay officials on duty were trying to figure out what the CCTV captured.
The hall guard twisted the monitor to see what's that thing standing next to the hammock. The hall is a little distant behind the outpost so the guard tried to check what he's been seeing on the monitor.
Two white figures not moving. Just standing right there where my brother's buddy is sleeping.
The guard tried to peep on the window to see what it was. To his surprise the two figures transferred at the back of the outpost! And what terrifies him most is that the figure he saw in the monitor are human figures..but without heads! They were both wearing white. One on a suit and one looks like a night gown, as if it was a man and woman.
The hall guard's wife who was with him at that time and also a barangay official saw it, too. They never moved or closed the windows no matter how scared they felt that moment. It stayed there for less than an hour. Later on it disappeared when a car came to pass. My brother stood and woke up his two sleeping buddies on the hammock after checking up on the car. Along with his partner they exchanged post with the two. They both transferred to the hammocks at the back. And the two sleeping buddies went in front to guard on the road.
The next day, the hall guard and his wife told the other barangay officials about it and they found out that they're not the only ones who experienced it. They also told the police officers. Right then my brother knew they had company on duty that night.
The backstory, according to my brother as he tried asking the community there:
The police outpost and the woods at the back used to be buildings. I can't remember what kind of building, I think he said it's some sort of a little community in there. The place was burnt and two people died. A few years later, people nearby are seeing these two headless figures usually late at night.
