Important 3pm things, Updates, and Plans

Awhile ago, I was torn which task I should do with my little time. Every Wednesday is early out day, meaning I get to go home as early as 11am every Wednesday.

My best friend from high school messaged me that she already landed in the Philippines. I'm glad she's back. She was in America for 3 years already. We have our planned outing, together with out high school friends but we decided to meet as well on our own since we've been classmates since first grade. Here's the thing about adult planned meet ups and catch ups, we need to compromise. We should be aware of our friends' vacant days and we need to inform them as well whenever we're free. Good thing, she's here for a vacation so I'll just squeeze in to her hectic schedule since she's staying for a month only.

After my class, I joined my friend slash colleague in commuting on our way home. I usually take Grab car but this time, I decided to take the jeep so we can chat along the way. We talked about our plans this coming June. Sometimes it occurs to us that we deserve better but somehow we can't let go of what we currently have, which, is definitely not the better one. We already talked about a lot of things, from work related topics to relationship advices, travel plans... and a lot more while waiting for a jeepney. Sadly, there were no jeepneys available around the area.

We opted to take a cab since we've been seeing a lot of cabs stopping in front of us while waiting for a jeepney. Just when we're trying to get a cab, that's the time where all the cabs that had passed were all booked! What a day! Life is really tricky sometimes. When you give in, that's the time it will make it more miserable for you. After waiting for another 30 minutes, a taxi cab without any passenger, stopped in front of us. Once again, we talked about life.

Did I mention why we're so annoyed by the transportation today? We both have our own appointments to attend to. My friend has a date with her boyfriend while I have my own date with my dentist. Lol. Today is my teeth check and cleaning day at 3pm.

After eating lunch, I took a bath once again. It was 1pm and I just watched tiktok videos to pass the time. Siesta time. I almost hit the sack. Luckily, I alarmed 2:40pm to prepare my bag before heading off to the Dental Clinic.

My usual 3pm things consists of nap, coffee, snacks, books, and netflix. Today is different, it consists of gargles, my dentist talking, and me who mentally singing with the songs playing in the clinic.

This is just what happened to my Wednesday and I thought it is worth documenting through words. Maybe I should do this often so I can go back to some of my life's daily lesson in subtle mode because there were little lessons in life that hide in simple things or happenings.
