After a month our second child was born, we got married last August 2021. That month was a series of celebrations from giving birth, our son’s 18th month, birthdays of the father-in-law, sister-in-law, and my husband. We got married the next day after my husband’s birthday.
A little trivia, our daughter was made in Spain around October 2020.
I am writing this blog as an appreciation post to my husband. Yesterday’s 15-hour journey wasn’t easy. He had no sleep for 15 hours. We arrived in Alcossebre at 9AM but we had to wait that the agency would give us the key at 12 noon. So my husband did our shopping to the nearest supermarket near this area. While the kids and I were waiting in the car and our son got crazy as he wanted to go out and walk. The abuelas or grandmas came near to Alex saying he is guapo or handsome but he had tantrums.
Since this area is kind of touristy, the price is too expensive. It took him hours to compare the prices and he was having a headache already. Oh, my poor husband. After shopping, we went back to the agency to get the key.
My husband needs to check the house first. On Airbnb, he rented a two-storey house with a garden, a kitchen with 4 cooking stoves and oven, a bathroom and toilet with a bathtub, and 2 bedrooms. But he was kind of disappointed as there was no bathtub but only a shower.
We went back to the agency and he was given an another key to the second house. But this house is smaller to the first house but you need stairs to go to the house. It has a bathtub but no 4 cooking stoves and oven. Just 2 cooking stoves. But it has a bathtub.
But which one should I choose?
I chose the second house because of the bathtub and also, there’s a lot of natural light coming in. Another downsides are we need to use the stairs to come in and out of the house. It was a little bit far from the gate that we used our baby trolley to transfer our things. If you have read my long lists, it wasn’t easy to bring our things inside the house because of the stairs.
I was already in the house with the two kids and we never had our breakfast and lunch yet. That’s why I was able to update at 2PM from my previous post. I put the food inside the fridge and organize our things inside the house.
After that, we enjoyed the bathtub first all the three of us while our daughter was sleeping and I bathe her later on. Then we changed our clothes to have dinner outside. My husband was too tired to cook.
We went to Pura Vida Restaurant. My husband and I ate some salad, bread, fried potatoes while the two kids were sleeping in their trolley and baby car seat near our table.
We passed by a wedding by the beach and I said wow! My husband said I was jealous because I am a wedding photographer but we don’t have official wedding photos. He is a DJ but we don’t have a big wedding party.
After that, we went to another restaurant to take out some pizzas and burgers. We went home and eat again. We enjoyed another bathtub and go to sleep.
Today, we woke up late and my he cleaned the whole house while I took care of the kids. I really appreciate the things he do for us. He is very tired. He prepared the last pizza box from last night while I am happy preparing my doze of coffee. We never go out in the morning or afternoon so all of them had a nap except me because the daughter was awake and needs some milk.
The husband woke up and he did some 15-minute swimming while my son is enjoying his little bathtub. Ok, it’s 8PM now so we need to go out and have some dinner. Yay!
That is the most sweetest thing to do. Gathering your family together and you both go for the vacation, it will be so fun
