Last November 30, my sister in law invited us for dinner to celebrate Christmas. She and her husband already prepared gifts for their nephew and niece, my kids. To feel the Christmas spirit, I asked my husband that our family should wear our red pullovers and a Santa suit for Elise. Us and Alexandre got our red pullovers from the last Christmas in Paris. The plan should be was to take photos in the biscuit/cookies place as they always have Christmas decoration all over plate. But we had no time.
We were not able to take some family photos of our Christmas themed outfits as it was really hot inside the house. My husband and I took off our red pullover and stayed on our t-shirts.
The house was well-decorated with a little Christmas tree and lights. The table has a nice setup with chocolates and candies. And the typical dining setup with plates, utensils and table napkins.
Before our dinner started, the SIL started to give gifts to my kids. Alexandre received a toy computer and a nice suit so that he can have something to wear during the Christmas in Paris. While Elise received a toy good for her age and a pink dress.
I took photos of us in the dining table but I used the DSLR camera so I cannot upload it here. But I took photos of the kids. I wanted to put Elise in the little bed but Alexandre butted in and wanted to kiss and hug her.
It is also a triple celebration as my husband told his sister about my 2nd anniversary here in France when I arrived on Nov 29. She also remembered that Elise just turned 5 months on Nov 30. And Dec 1 is Alexandre’s 22 months. Time flies so fast.
Tomorrow is gonna be a busy day for all of us since my husband invited his sister and SIL’s husband and 2 family friends to come over for dinner. So I need to fold all the clothes and wash the floor.
It is already 4 AM now, so I need to sleep. My plan for today, supposedly, is to write an article about my old artworks but I changed my mind. I will write about in the next few days.
