Upgrading My Savings Plan
ARTICLE NO. 51 OF 2022 TITLE: <Upgrading My Savings Plan> DATE OF PUBLISHING: <APRIL 05, 2022> Savings ... It does ring a bell for all of us, right? Especially to those who have a well-oriented financial goals and are focusing upon achieving it all. And, that includes me. I can say that I am eager to save not that focused with and well-disciplined on it. For a reason that there are several instances that I am pinching onto my personal savings, both for important and unimportant matters. Which I wants to unleashed of~ I must only withdraw whenever I really need it and not when I want to. Personally, I have two savings location. **First**, in my personal bank account. My savings in here are from my scholarship allowances and from those that I am depositing by myself. And **second**, in my electronic-based wallet which is coins.ph. In this one, all the savings or "holds" comes from my crypto-blogging earnings. Ever since I don't know when, I have been aiming to have more than one bank accounts. May it be from the same bank or different banks. And as of now, I already have one opened in Land Bank of the Philippines way back in September 2020. Why? Simply to manage and balance every money that's coming onto me. Coz if I only have one, I'll possibly pinch and withdraw most of the time. Not organized, in short. This 2022, one of my many goals is to save more in bank than my e-wallets. Can I? Of course, I can and must can. Just need to be more focused, determined, and persevere. But, how? I already constructed a plan and I only need to make a move to execute it. So, how? Here's how I planned it. **Open another bank account.** I can't start it using my present LandBank personal savings account. Why? Coz my money will be jumbled in there and it'll cause chaos and confusions. I'm contemplating if I should go with LandBank again or in BDO. But the problem is, I am not that familiar with their procedures upon opening an account eh. *Question to those who have BDO accounts:* **"How to open an account in BDO? And, what're the possible requirements?"** That's the first step and I'm targeting to accomplish it on or before May 1, 2022. And yes, I'm planning to keep it as a secret and not to tell my parents. Don't want to be pressured and for them to feel financially-calm and totally depend on me and in my savings. Well, not yet~ **Deposit PhP 800.00 ($15.60) monthly.** What about the savings? Hmm, since I am earning in blogging, I'll get the money to save in here wherein **PhP 200.00 ($3.90)** must be sent in a weekly basis. That'll be around **9600 pesos (approximately $187.13)** for the whole year, if I will consistently do it. This year, I'm planning to begin this "*upgraded savings plan*" by the month of May 2022. About eight months before the year ends~ well, hopefully. **Another question is, "*****what inspired me to push this plan?*****"** Here, this post from PESO IPON TIPS pushed me even more to begin it. Before it gets too late~
Last question, "*what is/are my objective?*" First, **for my spendings once that the face-to-face classes resumes.** For daily allowance and other expenses *ba*~ Mama can't support us all alone, especially that Papa is lacking with his responsibilities and obligations. I don't want to put more burden to her, so I'll make a move by myself. Especially that I am aware that I can't do something for it. Yeah, I won't just sit back and relax. Second, **for the board exam**. If I got lucky to graduate on time and that it was still in a distant mode of learning, I'll just use that "savings" for the Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE). But, let's see. Third, **for the future**. Like for emergency matters, for purchasing a piece of land, building up a house, or whatever it may be. So, self. You have a new goal here, what to do? Grind more, hustle better. You can do it, just focus and be consistent. Okay? It's difficult for me to save a lot this time because I don't have any regular way of earning. I hope upon reading this I will inspire more to save and be frugal all the time. Thank you for this article. I am starting to manage my earnings properly.

I have bdo pero maintaining balance lang ang laman,my unionbank din ako pero di ko pa naactivate ang debit card ko.anyway mas bet ko maglagay ng savings ko sa g save sa gcash at sa Abra para I can earn profit while saving
How pong magpa-open account sa BDO, Ate? Yung reqs, ganern. Yung sa Abra pwede pa din mag-lagay ng funds, Ate? Anytime?

Honestly, ni minsan hindi pa ako nakapag.open nang bank account. May it Landbank or BDO. Wala pa rin sa plano ko. Tas sina mama at papa gusto lang na mag-ipon ako sa bahay lang. I mean, sa alkansiya lang ilalagay.. Haha.. Sayang din yung interest no, pero sabi naman ni papa, pano daw pag nag.close bigla yung banko.. Haha.. Natatawa nalang ako sa sinasabi ni papa, though may point naman siya. Anyways, I hope na maging success yan sissy.. God bless sayo!
Haha ayoko kasi talagang nag-iipon sa bahay at kadaling kumuha ay. Mabilis mauubos, sis. Akala mo ka di nag-iipon ba~ 😅 Hehe kapag malaki yung bank, possible na magsara pa din pero di agad-agad. Sayang din interest or profit~ I suggest for you to start saving with LandBank. Mas maliit yung pwedeng ipasok na pera unlike sa other banks, if papa-open account ka na, feel free to ping me in TG. I'm 15 palang atee is LandBank good for Saving ate? Like kese medyo malaki na cash ko dito kaya want ko na ipasok sa bank, pero yung pwede ko parin i withdraw pag may need akoo, also yung LandBank ba ate may online/physical option sila?
Go for ING digital bank or CIMB, mas mataas interest rate compared to the usual banks plus meron naman silang atm card. Sa ING, no withdrawal fee. Goodluck on your ipon goals ❤️

I never had any bank accounts at all. Kasi wala naman ako masyadong ilalagay don unless malaki talaga yung sobra sa pera from this platform. Magkano magpa open ng account sa Landbank?

Saving a bank account could be sometimes a bad habit because you use all your purchases with a debit card and then have no savings at all.
