Mama's Washing Machine: Unlocked

**Hello, everyone! :)** I'm back again and this time let me share this another achievement that we, our family, had just yesterday. In fact, it should be written yesterday but I was too tired to do so. And, here's my ading @kingofreview that also requested another article for the next progress of this goal.

So, here it is *na*. 💚 `Disclaimer: This article doesn't intend to brag but rather, to flex this blessing.` Still remember the article that I just wrote and published yesterday, January 17? In that article, I shared this certain goal that our family wants to have. For us, it is not only a need but also an investment to the kind of business or work that Mama has right now. What is it? The title tells it all. Yes, a **washing machine**. For us to have that we need **$102 For Mama's Washing Machine** or also equivalent to 520.00 in Philippine currency. https://read.cash/@imanagrcltrst/102-for-mamas-washing-machine-776dd1e1 The only thing that is holding us back is "*where will we get that $102?*" My parents don't have that amount of money so I volunteered that I will shoulder it first. Mama said that she'll just replace it little by little from her monthly salary as a housekeeper. Yes, she has another sideline. Such a resourceful and hard-smart working woman she is. Though, I didn't answered in that coz it's okay if I didn't get that money back. I'm planning to buy that thing for her *naman talaga*, in the first place eh. Anyway, back to the topic. About 30 minutes after I published my article, Mama said that we'll go to the City Proper to check the washing machines that I told her the other night. So okay, I prepared myself right away. Another 30-40 minutes had passed and we're off to go *na*. Coz I have this gut feel that something unexpectedly will about to happen, I told Papa to dropped by at the ATM machine in our community. There, I withdrawn PHP 1900.00 ($36.91) from my bank savings. **Fast forward ... ⏩** Maybe around 4:00PM, we arrived at the city proper. We go to Super99 first to check their available washing machines. For approximately 10-15 minutes of checking and all, this machine caught her attention. This is one of the washing machines that I shown her. Apparently, she didn't checked-it out coz it looks like it was stocked for too long. Next, to the ALLWAYS. Compared to the first establishment, they have more washing machines to offer and most of them are on sale. As I said in my article yesterday, Mama wants that micromatic one. Don't know what's with that and why she likes it so much. Hehe~

After more or less 30-40 minutes of searching and assessing every double washing machines (with dryer) that they have, she came up with a decision. Yes, I didn't meddle with her but I only voiced-out my opinions when I need to. She knows more about that eh. :D The one that passed her high standards is this **Eureka EWM-850D ELITE** that has the capacity to wash 8.5 kilograms of clothes and all in every cycle. Actually, this is also the one that I am telling her that I like and this is that one that costs $102 or PHP 5200.00. In the first place, she was really torn between the washing machines with 7.5 kg and 8.5 kg, same brand and model. However, she still choose the one with 8.5 kg as it can be used for more clothes and exclude the one with 7.5 kg because they don't have any additional stock. She don't want to get the one that is for viewing and testing as it might possibly have some defects *daw*.

It took almost 10-15 minutes of checking all the specs and features before the item was brought to the counter for billing. *Good thing that the merchandiser and other staffs assigned in that area are so accommodating, jamming, and honest.* And, tadaaaa! After a lot of planning and even uncountable "*sana* and *sana all*" in our minds, finally. We have it now, looking so-brand new and all. ✨

Because we still need to buy some stocks at the wet market, we just left it at their baggage counter first then we do our next tasks after. As we finished those tasks, we looked for other tricycle that has a carrier as our tricycle can't accommodate the space that it needs. Then after some minutes of travelling from the city proper to our barangay, tadaaa! **Our newly-brought washing machine is now at home.** 🧡

As Mama and Papa examined it again, Mama said that it is not a Class A. So, okay. *Galing talagang pipili* eh. :D As per its warranty, it has a **1-year warranty** and we just need to present the receipt if something bad happens while we are using it. Oh, I hope there's none and that it will took years upon using. Well, *nasa gumagamit din naman 'yun*. And, Mama knows how to take care of thing so that's a sure ball. Anyways, here's how it looks inside.

See? My gut feel is right, really right. I just confirmed it when we are on the way to the proper while riding our family service vehicle (tricycle). Mama told me that we'll buy it if it passed her taste and standards. I wondered how will we do that coz I don't have the money *pa* and so I asked her "how and why"*.* Then, she told me that her boss known about our plan and offered her to have an advance from her salary. Because her boss was so persistent, she had no choice but to say yes. And, yes. We unlocked this one as we took parts of the $102. Here's how: **$58.28** **(PHP 3000.00)** from Mama and Papa; **$14.56** **(PHP 750.00)** from anonymous sponsor of Give A Gift; and **$28.16 (PHP 1450.00)** from yours truly. As you can remember the Give A Gift that I applied and got in as one of the beneficiaries, that's where the $14.56 came from.

They also added that I should not worry about Mama's advanced salary coz they'll take care of it. Good thing that Papa already have a regular job as a baker in a newly-opened bakery here in our community. Just hoping that he'll manage his salary in a good way. So, finally. Mama can do her work more easier than before through her much awaited and dream washing machine. If you can just seen the way she smiled yesterday, anyone can tell that it is really a hundred percent contagious smile. *Nakahahawa~* At last, no more dreaming and *sana all* coz we made it happened already, for real. So, 01.17.2022 should be really marked as a definitely blessed day. **Thanks, G!** 💛 So since that my 17 days earnings in read.cash for the month of January 2022 is still in tucked, I will just used it for AB's consultation at a veterinary clinic tomorrow.
