A Timeless Journey Toward Success

People tend to create timeline for their lives. “ I should be achieving this in the next 5 years. I should become the person I envision myself (right now) to be in the next 10 years. After 20 years, I should be spending my life with my family and enjoying the life I created myself.

They tend to be in a haste craving success towards them. Not knowing the challenges they might encounter along the way. Not expecting that they might fall and fail along the hurdles of life.

I remember my teacher telling stories about his life experiences. He shifted from one course to another during his college years. His supposed batchmates already graduated after that while he still pursuing college. They are already working in their field of profession, earning money, and travelling to different places. He then felt bad about himself to the point that he deactivated his social media accounts just so he would not see the success of other people.

But God indeed work in mysterious ways. My teacher become the person he is today, he already reached his dream profession, finished graduate school, and more. He is not late chasing success, he is just in time, in his own phase.

In life, its totally fine to chase success, who wouldn’t want to be successful anyway? But let us not forget that along the way, we can encounter delays and sometimes, failure and downfall. Sometimes we should first taste the bitterness of life before we harvest the sweet success of it. Nevertheless, let us not be discouraged about that. Instead, lets be more driven to crave success. Moreover, delayed dreams are still heard by God. Sometimes, it is just His way to prepare us for something that is greater than we asked for.

Early success, delayed success and everything in between are totally fine. If its your time, it will come and chase you. Enjoy striving for success and take your time. Success has no timeline, anyway. As long as you work hard for it, you deserved it.

Yes, it's true, I have a friend back then who didn't graduate on time, and he always says to us that not graduating on time is not a failure or a shame, the important is to continue study to continue aiming.

Very will said, Nagiging failure lang naman ang isang bagay kapag sinukuan mo ‘yung mga pangarap mo. Kaya dapat tuloy lang, laban lang! And always pray kasi at the end of the day, it is always God’s will and timing that will prevail 💖
