Back at the Summer Marche event at Isetan in KLCC Suria Mall to have my lunch, this time I plan to try another dish at this stall called Vietnam noodles cafe.
This time I order their Bo Kho which means braised beef stew which cost RM18 per portion. The beef stew comes with crispy banh mi bread.
Kho (mean "to stew") is a cooking technique in Vietnamese and Cambodian cuisine, where a protein source such as fish, shrimp, poultry, pork, beef, or fried tofu is braised on low heat in a mixture of fish sauce, sugar, and water or a water substitute such as young coconut juice. The resulting dish is salty and savoury and meant to be eaten with rice noodles, baguette, or steamed rice.
