Today lunch, I revisit the Lot 10 Hutong Food Court. It is a food court will a lot of Malaysian traditional food in it.
This time I explore the Pin Qian Klang Bak Kut Teh stall which is known for its Bak Kut Teh. I order a bowl of dry bak ku teh which cost RM21.50 per bowl. It come with a bowl of rice and a cup of Chinese tea.
For those who don't know what bak ku teh is, it is a pork rib dish cooked in broth popularly served in Malaysia and Singapore.
The bak ku teh dry version is created by making the broth reduced to a thicker gravy, has a tangier, sharper taste and is more akin to a herbal stew than the classical broth.
Just beware that this version is a bit spicy if you order this.
