Para Thai Thai-style omelette with minced chicken and prawns
For today's lunch, I am back at ParaThai in KLCC Suria Mall, a restaurant that specializes in Thai Cuisine to try out another dish.
After looking at their menu, I ordered their Thai-style omelette with minced chicken and prawns. After including the 16% service tax, the total cost for this dish is RM21.92 per plate. I order along a plate of rice to eat with it.
For those who don't know what an omelette is, it is a dish made from beaten eggs, fried with butter or oil in a frying pan (without stirring as in scrambled egg).
In Thai cuisine, a traditional omelette is called khai chiao (khai meaning "egg", and chiao meaning oil-fried), in which the beaten egg mixture and a small quantity of fish sauce is deep fried in a wok filled with 1-2 cups of vegetable oil and served over steamed rice. The omelette I order inside mixed with minced chicken and prawn
When the dish is served, it come with Sriracha sauce. The portions is very big and I couldn't finish it. Another thing to take note is this dish is very oily which make it hard to finish.
