Oriental Landmark steamed rice with soft shell crab & crispy rice

Today evening I visit Oriental Landmark for dinner. It is a restaurant specializing in fine Cantonese cuisine, it is located at the Intermark Mall if you ever what to visit it

Because I don't feel like eating a heavy meal for dinner due to the hot weather, I order their rice dish which is normally considered small portion for most people. I order their steamed rice with soft shell crab & crispy rice, it cost RM19.70 after including the 16% service tax.

For those who don't know what Soft-shell crab is, it is a culinary term for crabs that have recently moulted their old exoskeleton and are still soft. This means that almost the entire crab can be eaten, rather than having to remove the crab shell to reach the meat.

The dish is served in a hot clay bowl to keep it warm longer while you eat it. I don't recommend this if you are looking for a fulfilling meal, this is a light dish.
