Hoagies chicken alfredo pasta

Today I visit this restaurant called Hoagies, an Italian-American-inspired restaurant to have my lunch. This branch is located at the Mid Valley Garden Mall.

After looking at their menu, I decided to order their chicken alfredo pasta. It cost RM22 after including the service tax. The Pasta contains chicken breast with cream sauce and parmesan cheese.

The correct way to call this dish is Fettuccine Alfredo, it is an Italian pasta dish of fresh fettuccine tossed with butter and Parmesan cheese. As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich cheese sauce coating the pasta.

When their chicken alfredo pasta is served, I notice it is dry. This is how alfredo pasta is supposed to look like. In Malaysia, a lot of restaurants served alfredo pasta with a lot of gravy which is not how it is supposed to be. The true Italian alfredo is much dryer.
