Dashi Dining Saya Japanese beef bowl rice don set
Today lunch, I revisit the Lot 10 Mall Japanese food court to try out another dish from Dashi Dining Saya. Dashi Dining Saya is known for providing excellent quality set meals at an affordable price.
This time I order their Japanese beef bowl rice don set, it cost RM21.75 after including the service tax. It come with a side dish of vegetable and miso soup.
Because it is an open kitchen style, I can see them cook my meal in front of me after I place my order.
This dish is actually called Gyūdon (mean "beef bowl" in Japanese), is a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with beef and onion simmered in a mildly sweet sauce flavoured with dashi, soy sauce and mirin. It may sometimes also be served with toppings such as raw or soft poached eggs, Welsh onions, grated cheese or kimchi. A popular food in Japan, it is commonly eaten with pickled ginger, ground chili pepper, and a side dish of miso soup.
