Bananabro nasi briyani
Today I revisit bananabro, a Mamak restaurant at Wangsa Walk Mall to have my dinner. They are well known for their banana leaf platters, a traditional method of serving rice dishes in South Indian cuisine.
This time I came to try their nasi briyani, your order their banana leaf platters and upgrade them into nasi briyani. Unlike the banana leaf platters where the rice is refillable, the nasi briyani is not refillable and it come with a egg.It cost RM13.70 after including the 16% service tax.
For those who don't know what biryani is, it is a mixed rice dish originating among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. It is made with spices, rice, and meat, or eggs or vegetables such as potatoes in certain regional varieties. For this version which I order, it is just a normal briyani with a egg and without meat in it.
