The smile that my heart

Awaken by the falling rain on my rooftop,

Coldness touching my skin,

Shivers on my backbone,

Telling me to sleep a little bit more.

I pull up the blanket,

It is heavy and warm,

Cuddling inside is my little princess,

Snoring happily,

Ignorance of the loud noise on the roof.

Forget the blanket for I need it no more,

The little smile on her sleeping face,

Warmth my heart,

Chasing the coldness away. 

My precious princess,

The reason my heart keeps beating daily.
