This year's election for presidency has become a hot issue that most of the time, people make memes out of it just to show support to the aspiring President. I don't know why some people tend to get mad at someone who has different political views than them. Hello? It's our right to choose and we have reason for that so no one should question us nor make fun of us for choosing that candidate. We all got our own thing so let's just mind our own business.

I am okay with someone, who's supporting his bias. It's normal, I mean we all have the right to support and no one's stopping us. But sometimes, a way of supporting turned into bashing, hating, cancelling the other opposing candidate. Can we just support without hating? After all, it's our future President who we are supporting and regardless of the result, we should remain united for the country.

I hate it when I saw some friends on Facebook arguing just because a person won't vote the same as his/her. He did not only talk shit about the candidate but he was also talking about bad things towards the person. Consequently, the argument became personal instead of just talking about the candidate. They are now fighting each other revealing personal issues. What a narrow-minded people. What made it even worse is that they broadcast everything on social media and we can't deny the fact that even if the post or comments were deleted online, it can't give an assurance that it's also deleted on people's mind.

I have my own bias, my chosen President and I am so silent about it. For me, why would I make noise if I can just support silently, in a well-mannered way. Fighting on social media won't help and it can ruin my credibility and dignity. I read a lot, I have seen a lot of hate from comparing the candidates and bringing up their past which they think can affect the candidacy. What's the point? We can't change people's mind and heart that easy. The best thing we can do is to keep silent, if we can't be kind.

I was triggered by some random posts on Facebook that are gathered together. There were these people who made fun of someone because of his chosen President. They did not only talk negatively about the candidate but they also made fun of his disability for his one eye is blind. This man supporting his bias, did not do anything wrong to these people buy why they end up to this? Is this what their values taught them?

See they made fun of this man who hold a paper with some writings on it showing his support to his bias.

They are making too personal comments and even labeled him as "blinded twice" for choosing that candidate. Some also captioned "wink challenge done" because of his left eye.

There were a lot of them but I won't bring them all here so they can't radiate the negative vibes.

So what's my point?

Let's support our candidate without basing the other. Let's support our candidate without having an argument to people who have different bias as ours. Stop educating them just because you think they know nothing. You are just insulting them. They don't need your lecture because before they chose that candidate, I am sure they weigh things out and have thought thoroughly.

Let us respect each other's choice. It's all that matters.

If we can't be good, then be quiet.

Ganyan talaga ngayon about politics John. We should respect nalang talaga sa iba kung sino yung i-vote nila kasi may kanya-kanya naman tayong rights and freedom kung sino yung i-vote natin tas we should have peace. We shouldn't do the things like sisiraan yung iba. Ang dami talaga sa social media John.

The thing with this election is it reveals much about people's character. Yung iba masyadong sineseryoso yung pag-aabogado sa mga kandidato nila to the point na nakakalimutan na nilang magpakatao.

Higit sa pagiging botante, Filipino tayo. Pare-pareho tayong nagkakagatan, tayo-tayo din ang magkakasugatan.

It's becoming more toxic and toxic everyday with those kind of people who can't shut their mouth and keep their opinions about a single thing especially politics.... Attacking below the belt is just worst.. No wonder na hindi sila nakakahabol kahit man lang ilan sa mga surveys.. They want to convince opther people to votw for their chosen candidate pero they're just making it more ugly.
