No: 41 - 3

Hola! I'm still on cloud 9 upto this moment from being noticed by some of the authors i do admire here. Though it's raining since last night , it did'nt bothered me the way it bothers me in the past. I still have the good vibes that keep me going and still has the strength to handwash our clothes ,lol! ( some parts of the machine need to be replace) and dries it up despite the rain.
And surely when it rains it pours. Thank you to all my sponsors and for the new one @remona i really do appreciate it so much! May the good Lord shower you all abundantly. Thank you with all my heart🧡
==============================
When i used to work in the office i used to call my lady boss "Madam" instead of "Ma'am" it's a sign of respect and she likes it. I even asked her permission if it's ok for her to replace Ma'am into Madam and she's ok with it. Somehow it has the same meaning ,in Britain Ma'am is used in referring to a Queen or a high ranking Lady Official.
Here in the Philippines we use Ma'am to address our Teachers , Lady bosses as well or just our way to give respect to women. Same goes with the use of Madam. But i prefer to call my Lady boss madam coz of her high status in the company as well as in the community .They belong to the upper class and i feel it's more appropriate to call her madam.
Nowadays , we use the term casually . And my better half fondly called me madam sometimes, " Madam Pureza" to be exact. Hahaha! Pureza , pertaining to "poor" a poor madam, lol! I am not comfortable being called madam or ma'am . I prefer to be called " Sis" if we are the same age or "Ate" a Filipino term use for older sister.
According to Statistic
According to the latest Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA stats , the income level of Filipinos are classified as Upper , Middle , Lower middle , Low income and Poor as stated in the photo below. No doubt that i belong to the Lower middle class to Low income. Now you know why i deserved to be called " Madam Pureza" hahaha.

We are living with the basic anyway and living within our means so i dont worry much about the classifications and accepted wholeheartedly without further argument that i or we are poor coz that is real ,hahaha!
Misconceptions
There are some people though that don't believe that we are poor. And why it's so? Where did they get the notion despite reality that we are?
My six old year old son asked me . Mom are we poor? I answered , yes honey we are if being the basis is the earnings above or should i say our life is simple. We don't have a big house just like our neighbor. We don't have cars like them. We don't have means to travel often nor eat at a fancy restaurant.
But why do we see poor people in the street and we are not? We are not asking for food in the neighborhood yet we give them, our house is clean , our clothes and me?
Oh that! because honey there is no rule saying you can't be clean and presentable even if you are poor. The little earnings we have are spent accordingly. For all our basic needs. We are making sure all the necessary things that are needed are covered. And even if our life is simple , sharing something to some people is an act of kindness we can do. In our own little way we should help.
I can speak English and my classmate said poor people don't speak the language. Oh ! everyone can speak the language if they want to. Education is not for the rich or middle class alone. It is a right of every children to be educated. Besides " Peppa Pigs and Ryan " teaches you how to speak the language. hahaha!
I have nice things and you have too. Because we are lucky we have relatives living and working around the globe that gives us things we can't afford to buy coz it's quite expensive here. Like clothes , bags, shoes, perfumes, toys ,chocolates , make up and a lot more.
We had our mini family reunions weeks ago and we are truly grateful for all the stuff given to us as "pasalubong". Clothes, shoes, bags, chocolates , goodies , soaps , toothpaste , toothbrush , flosses and even dishwashing liquid and towels and a lot more.
Most of the things we have are given by our relatives living and working from some Western part of the world such as NY, Canada, California ,Australia some from Japan , UAE and London. My kids clothings , bags , shoes and even toys are mostly from them . I rarely buy them such stuff. Coz it was given freely.
I am a real " Madam Pureza" but just too lucky to have families that love us so much they are sending and give us stuff that honestly we can't afford to buy here.
Disclaimer though that we don't ask them to give us such , we don't demand for those things . Nor we pity ourselves coz our life is simple. We don't make "Asa" or oblige them to give. It was all given freely.
We are also working hard for our kids. Dreams to put into reality and goals to reach someday. Our life , our responsiblity. Living simply is a choice that gives us joy and appreciate life and blessings even little as it is.
Being poor is not a sin but being a burden to other people i guess is. Pretending to belong to a well off one to please other people is hard to sustain coz it will lead to various lies and that would be sin.
Life may not be as simple as counting one, two , three but it sure has a nice reward if we live it simple and real.
Most of the time. It's not how much we earn that determines our way of living but on how much we spend. Giving value to what we are earning today and save even a little can do wonder in the future.
I am a real Madam Pureza , Poor with a class ,lol! happy to be one and i am a real Queen of our humble abode.
Thank you all for the read as always!
For all my sponsors " Salamat po ng Marami".

You just explained everything well to your kiddo. As for me, when my nephew asked about it, I also told him that we are poor. We don't have the luxury items like cars, and bigger houses, but I told him to be contented and be happy.
