Legend has it that in the towns of my plain you see a very beautiful and elegant woman with long black hair. It usually appears on long, dark nights. She is seen by men who are womanizers and revelers and who are on the dark streets.

They say that she attracts them with her beauty and takes them where she wants and only then after seducing them does she transform. Her appearance is now that of a ghost with a demon face, long fangs, and blood-colored eyes. It terrifies them in such a way that the man is paralyzed with fear and she murders them.

Legend has it that Sayona's name comes from the outfit she wears, which is a long black dress, called "SayĆ³n". That's where the name "La Sayona" comes from, as she is a punishing woman.

They say it was a woman from the colonial era. Her name was Casilda. She was married and a very jealous woman.

Legend has it that a man who was in love with her followed her and was discovered by her while in pursuit, she rebukes and interrogates him. To earn points with her, the man tells her that it is to inform her that her husband is dating another woman in town.

Unknowingly, the gossiping and lying man had sown mistrust in the heart of this jealous woman. She was aware of any clues to verify what she feared. One bad day while sleeping with her husband, she heard her mother's name come out of her husband's mouth. Then she was filled with hatred. Thinking that her own mother was her husband's mistress.

She took a knife and went to find his mother that very night. She finds her asleep and stabs her with all her hatred, at the same time marking her as a traitor for sleeping with her husband. The dying mother swears that she is not her lover. But before closing his eyes, she curses her for all eternity for killing her mother so savagely.

Legend has it that when the woman died she was transformed into a specter, which in revenge of all men comes out very well dressed or transformed into an animal. To captivate the man. And when she achieves her will, she kills them.

I applaud you for the initiative to make our culture known @ gertu13, the message it transmits to people, so that they act well in life, without deceiving people, if a man prefers other women instead of his wife, it is Better to talk and tell her that he no longer loves her, the situation is not fair, and that bad for that woman, who did not find out and kill her mother, she has double condemnation ...

Yes, legends are that, part of popular culture. And in the end they have a moral. Be respectful, honest, and fear God.

This is quite a sad tragic story too for the lady to kill her mother out of jealousy without investigating further if it was what she thought it was. It seems many are a result of own silliness.

That's also a terrifying tale. It seems you've found a liking to writing about horror stories

They are only legends of my country. They are stories that I hear and read since I am a young adult and started traveling. I do not write it as a horror story as such, but I write it as part of the culture of my country. And I remember you told me you liked them Others also liked this part of the story.

Well true, horrors and legends have been part of a country's culture ever since and it only seems to evolve as time goes on. And these stories are really really fascinating since you can see what people in a country believed in at the time the story came abour

If you start seeing all of these subtitles, they have a message for people to take care of themselves.

This legend suggests that men should not have other girlfriends besides their wives. And that they shouldn't be out and about at night looking for other women.

But then not all men who stay out late into the night have women, some just happened to be traveling from work or from another place. Seems that story is way too specific for adulterers

Remember that this happens in the days of the colonies. In those times no one should do anything at night. They were places that did not have artificial lighting. Just the light from heaven. Then there was no vehicle transport, they only rode horses and mules. And they all went to bed early to continue working in the fields the next day.

I suppose so but i did think that around those times, pubs and alcoholics were already prevalent in those time but not so much on adulterers

Therefore, legend has it that horror only chose adulterous partiers. In revenge.
