How much BCH do you need to pay your bills? 0.003 is a complex number to crack.
This is pretty much my monthly budget/expenses that I need to cover every month, and It is just the spending part, not the income part.
Home internet 0.23
Rent 2.25
Gas, water and electricity 1.05
Food 2.5
Mobile phone 0.19
Dental and vision insurance 0.26
Health insurance 1
Out of pocket medical bills 0.40
That is what I need every month, and I wonder why I can't save. The reason is simple your money is going away to someone else. The only thing you could cut out of that simple budget is dental, vision, Health insurance, pocket medical bills, and home internet, and still, you need 5.99 BCH every month. When I first wrote this article, the amount in BCH was way less than 3 BCH. That is due to the lower price of BCH against dollars.
You will need at least $15 an hour after taxes to have some money left for other things, and the general public at the moment is just making less than $2000 a month. American workers are forced into pretty much slavery. It is just that people haven't realized it just yet; not many people understand that in the US, you earn dollars, you spend dollars, and if you would want to get paid in BCH, it will be something great, but you will need to get at least 7 BCH to live a decent life today.
And that's when the complete picture comes, and today you need 5.0 BCH to live everyday life. The problem is you are not getting paid in BCH but dollars, and if the price of BCH continues dumping, those trying to use it as a currency will continue to lose satoshis unless you utilize use and replace.
Eventually, the price will have to go up because 0.003BCH is what every human should earn spend, or I would say it is the amount that every human should hold at any given time. Life is not that fair. That means that you should make it your goal to save at least three months of your essentials in BCH because it is superior to money.
Once you count total supply, you will realize there is not enough BCH for every person to earn 5 BCH or even three every single month because people would want to save it for future use, so that means that in the future, the minimum wage in BCH will be even lower than 0.003 every month. You are already lucky if you can make more than $2000 monthly, you will be in a better position if you could have 5 BCH on income every month, too, once we enter the Bitcoin standard. Once you think about it, supply and demand and the number of people living today 0.003 BCH will be a lot of money in the future.
But 0.003 BCH will only be valid if Bitcoin Cash is a peer-to-peer currency, and that's why governments fear it because in our world-saving even one 1 BCH will mean the economy will have to produce stuff that lasts. Our current system requires infinite growth. The transition from fiat to BCH won't be easy nor peaceful either many will lose their riches to confiscation, and others will lose it in other forms. It is hard to imagine that transition because the fiat world has been used from the cradle to the grave.
If you consider how much you need to live today and how much you can save today, and how much each human can have if divided equally, you will find that either BCH has to go up in price, or the cost of things must come down. I don't think in an economy where only BCH exists will be much more than 0.003 monthly, just like when we had the gold standard, things were much cheaper, and labor had to find a balance. What will be that balance, I don't know? Still, having 1 BCH will be a lot, at least that is my opinion, but who knows?
Since I don't know the future and I am not smart enough to imagine it or powerful enough to make my best advice, I will save as much as possible today in satoshis not based on your current spending but on what you think your future needs may be. Or save as much as your budget allows but save as much you can.
There's so much difference in countries , the place I am living 2BCH a month would be enough as it's price now. But if I move to the city area then 5-6BCH per month. I am getting you , you used yours as an example, cool. Interesting post and calculation which I didn't thought. I should look into this more.
