Tomatoes that think they are summer in winter; greenhouse cultivation

When it comes to farming, you can grow tens of crops in the fields in the summer because the seasonal conditions are suitable for this, every area suitable for outdoor cultivation can be considered as a cultivation and farming area for you, but this is not possible in winter months.

During the winter months, the product you can grow is limited and the growing process is more difficult and costly. Today I had the opportunity to visit a greenhouse area belonging to my friend, so I learned and illustrated how tomatoes grow in the greenhouse.

It is quite easy to grow summer crops in the summer season, you will not encounter seasonal difficulties. Since it is already a summer vegetable, it can be easily grown in the summer, meanwhile, I learned here that tomato is considered a fruit in some places. Tomatoes have a special place in Turkish cuisine, tomatoes are added to almost all dishes.

When you want to grow the summer vegetable in winter, you must have taken some difficulties because since the vegetable is a summer vegetable, you must provide the environment close to the summer season it needs. The preferred way for this is greenhouse cultivation, you can provide a suitable environment for the tomato to grow in the greenhouse.

First of all, you have to cover the area where you will grow tomatoes with transparent nylon, so you take the first step of preventing the inside from being affected by the cold outside. The next step is to provide the tomatoes with the constant heat they need, in which you burn coal in the greenhouse and spread the heat evenly inside the greenhouse.

You have to constantly check all these at different times of the day and night, an opening that may occur in the nylon or a difference in temperature values may cause you to lose the entire product. It's a demanding and costly job, but if you approach it as a result, you'll find it's a fun job well worth it.

Whatever season you do, farming is a special and sacred work, they have an active role in meeting the first basic needs of people. These roles continue until they collect the product they planted and then continue with new products, that is, they enjoy producing without interruption.

Even though the values they deserve are sometimes not given to them, they never give up on this profession that they started from their father or ancestor.

We cannot say that the products grown in greenhouses are organic, some pesticides are used in the growing process, as long as these are not above the recommended values, it is not a problem, but in places where there is some lack of control, pesticides can be applied above the recommended values in order to mature the product in a shorter time.

The precaution I take for myself is to consume each product in its natural season, summer fruit/vegetable should be consumed in summer, winter fruit/vegetable should be consumed in winter. This is a simple method that I developed and implemented by myself.

As the difficulties and costs in the growing process of the product increase, its value in the market increases, so greenhouse products can be harmful not only to our health but also to our pockets financially.
