Adolescence is usually the name of the transition period from childhood to adulthood. Entering puberty is also proof of a healthy development in a child. During this period, they enter into a physical and emotional growth and development. These are the stages of stepping into adulthood.

Adolescence is a period that can show differences for each child for boys and girls. Symptoms occur at different times with different findings. Although their interest in the opposite sex increases during these periods, they exhibit a shy attitude and tend to hide the change in their bodies. When observed in behavior and emotions, there are developments with serious differences.

increased emotion; During adolescence, they experience intensity in expressing their emotions such as sadness, joy, fear, and anger. They feel the need to express themselves by shouting, changes in their body language, hand and arm movements, hardening in facial expressions and increased tone of voice. They experience all their emotions more enthusiastically.

Boys and girls in these periods often feel alone. They experience a lot of excitement and sudden fear. It is easier for them to overcome their problems. Even if they are not successful in overcoming the problem, they do not accept failure. They blame others more than themselves.

The sexuality they feel for the opposite sex comes to the fore more than their feelings of falling in love. Their perspectives are based on sexuality and then they discover romance and love. Initially, their love may be limited to hours. They may have love for more than one person on the same day, but they just keep it to themselves.

They have an excessive desire to dream. Their imaginations are more developed and sexuality constitutes a large part of their dreams. There is always the opposite sex in the content of dreams. The desire for the opposite sex reveals the basis of the dream and the fantasy created by the imagination. Apart from sexuality, the imagination in men is based on a war or hero phenomenon. In girls, the dream of the future and marriage comes to the fore.

Another issue that they are sensitive about during adolescence is their reluctance to work. In this period of stagnation, they have a lazy and lethargic nature towards their lessons and responsibilities at home. They either do not do the task assigned to them or they do it late. The balance of excitement is not fully settled. They are either unresponsive or overreactive.

The factors at the beginning and end of the adolescence period are as follows. Factors such as gender, race, birth weight, nutrition, sports, psychological status, and the course of puberty of the parents have an important contribution to the determination of the age of onset and end of puberty.

During these periods, children must be under the supervision and control of their parents. If necessary, support from third-party experts is available. Especially their curiosity about sexuality should be satisfied and their awareness can be raised.

Some of the signs of puberty catch the attention of the person entering puberty before the parents. The change in their bodies excites and frightens them. This situation should be explained to them by their parents rather than the textbooks and they should be made aware of it.

signs of puberty;

In men; It has symptoms such as enlargement of the ovaries, hair growth in the genital area and armpits, growth in the length of the penis, morning ejaculation, and deepening of the voice.

In girls; Breast budding, genital area and axillary pubescence are known signs of the onset of the menstrual period.

The end of adolescence usually consists of certain stages between 3-5 years. The end time may take longer in some cases. A late puberty can take the person up to the 20s for the end of puberty. This is a rare occurrence. Children should be carefully explained by their parents that this period is quite normal and that everyone who is healthy goes through this period, and these periods should be observed. Every adult who survives the adolescence period in a healthy way will have advantages in his later life. This is a transitional period that can even be reflected in their children.

If all parents would take up responsibility to educate their children on these features, it'd go a long way to keep the child Balance. But unfortunately, most of our parents shy away from this and let it be soley on us.

This shyness and shyness are not only in our parents. It still exists even in the specific audience that reads the article. They are uncomfortable talking about such issues. They choose to act as if they don't exist and go into the mode of not seeing, not hearing, not speaking.

Many a boy and Many a girl that have reached these adolence age for sure concur with your said points here. I think what they need more at this stage that is seen as the most demanding and critical stage about is a constant closeness to them as that would help them get moulded into how and what we want them to be

The people who can help them in this regard are primarily their parents. Because the more comfortably they get through this period, the more comfortable they will be in the future.
