How to Stop Being Scared of Success
Do you know many men and women are afraid to be successful? This is because they think that being successful would make them do more work and also get them off comfort.
This not only leads towards the path of poverty but also leads to the path where you miss out on a lot of opportunities too. So it's always a good idea to learn how not to be afraid of the success.
I want to point out some of the ways you can stop yourself from being afraid of success and embrace the abundance in your life.
Before we even discuss how to get rid of this fear we have to find out what we tell our mind about success and money.
Some of the excuses are :
Money will make me lose control of myself.
Money will make other people take advantage of me.
Money will make other people think of me as rich and they will hate me.
Money will destroy my relationships.
Money will affect my health, personal life and professional life.
These are some of the known excuses but there can be more and people often are aware of those excuses yet they come up with different variations of those.
So how can we get rid of these scary excuses?
Save Emergency Fund then Get Comfortable with Discomfort
You have to save at least 1 year worth of the funds as an emergency funds. And once you do that you would start to feel the pain of not having money in the bank.
This way you would realize that you would be facing the discomfort. And this leads to the mindset of being comfortable in the uncomfortable times.
Sure you are not broke and you have money saved in emergency funds. And being uncomfortable being in a budget is how you build yourself in the due process.
This takes a lot of practice and being comfortable with various discomfortable situations is how you build the mindset to attract more money.
Save money. Invest money. Then be comfortable living in frugal lifestyle.
Ignore what people say.
You may be in broken relationship, unmarried, or married with broke life. You may feel that other people are saying things to you. But you have to let go of those things.
You have to understand that ignoring what other people say would put you in much better position later. Like they don't pay your bills so you are not answerable to them.
Ignore even some of your loved ones and the blood relatives. As long as what you do is morally right you don't have to worry about what other people think.
Only way to move ahead in life is ignoring what other people say. This is how most of the people have learned how to get better in our life. Learn to ignore what people say.
Accept Failure & Get used to Things You can't control
We fail because we are not used to unknown. You may also find that accepting failure is not easy thing. We have to learn to get used to the failures.
Once we become used to the failure we then get ready to open up for how the success is going to be as well. I have been going through this process and opening myself up for the success.
In our life we have only things we can do and not the things we can't control. So we have to get ready to accept whatever the outcome that may come.
Being open to accept the failure is the sign that you are in the progress and moving slow yet moving long term. So be open this part.
Make Plans. Celebrate the Outcome.
You may the plans. You execute them. You celebrate the outcome. Like whenever you do something and execute and get the plans to work for you. Then celebrate it's outcome.
e.g. Let's say you write 1000 words a day. You achieve this target. Celebrate it by watching something good on internet then take break again and go back to work.
This sort of the planning leads to the focus. Which also leads to more confidence. And you learn that you deserve success. So this is what we want.
Your mindset is built by plan, execution and celebration. So start making plans and also learn to execute them too.
You Deserve Success
Start saying positive things to your own self. You deserve success. You deserve every good thing that comes to your way. You deserve it.
Start positive affirmations. This may feel like some juju for now but it all adds up as you move forward. You deserve your movement, start build on it.
You deserve success. Success requires movement to retain it. You don't have to be afraid of it. You have to learn to love it.
