Making the most out of my mornings

Mornings give us a new impression for the new day. And sometimes mornings set the mood for the whole day. So to make my day a bit positive, I always try to make the most out of my mornings.

I frequently sleep late at night, but I can't stay in bed until lunchtime. As a mom, I always wake up early, as soon as the roosters in the backyard crow to welcome the sun I will rise and do my daily routine.

But honestly, before I became a parent I am very lazy. Just like the other drowsy students who love to roll in bed the whole day. When weekends came, I used to wake up so late. Where breakfast was already ready and I am there rise in bed just to eat. But that was me a long time ago. I was changed and had changed for the better.

I guess most of us had experienced it, the struggle of waking up early in bed. I know it's very comfortable to stay in your cozy foam all day but it isn't healthy.

If before mornings for me doesn't matter, I am now concern with mornings, every day.

Of course, simply because I am a mom and I need to get up to make meals for the family to keep them healthy, active, and strong. But it is more than that. Even single people must wake up early and make the most out of their mornings.

As I said I find it hard to get up early in bed, but that was before. Now I am more of a morning person, and my body gets used to it, in waking up early.

How I make the most out of my mornings

  • I don't hit the snooze button.

I never did it, hitting the snooze button of my alarm clock. Before one of my most hate tones is the sound of my alarm. Especially if I'm in deep sleep, I just hate to hear it out of a sudden, so the snooze button was always my best option, and get back to sleep. But everything has changed. I never set an alarm for years. Hitting the snooze button is really tempting especially when you don't want to wake up from your beautiful dream. But remember the reason why you've set that alarm. May it be an appointment, for your school or something important on that day. Sometimes we just rely on the saying “It's better late than never.” but we should never forget being on time is still the best.

  • A daily dose practice of gratitude

Mornings for me are new beginnings and chances to take, so I am always thankful upon waking up every day. I always express my gratitude by thanking God for the new day He has provided me. I may forget it sometimes but whenever I do, I am feeling very blessed right after. Also, noise.cash is a great help in expressing our gratitude. I have time in the morning, I post a message of good mornings and gratitude on the site. Saying positive thoughts and gratefulness sets my mood in a great impression.

  • Enjoy a hot cup of coffee.

Coffee for me is just the best morning buddy. In any weather, gloomy, sunny, windy, or rainy, coffee is always the best to have with, but that's for me. I always have my coffee before breakfast, it is to set my tummy in a good mood. I don't know why but I just want my coffee to be plain, without any bread as a partner. Though sometimes we buy hot pandesal in the morning, I never tempted to dip it in my coffee. I just don't want to see particles of bread in my cup. 😅 But then, it just my taste.

  • Eating sufficient breakfast

Are you a person who can do well in the morning having no breakfast? Or you can't go well throughout the day without your breakfast?

Before I used to skip my meals especially breakfast. Since I'm a late riser, I always don't have a good appetite in the morning. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I feel lousy the whole day. But I learned that breakfast plays an important part in our daily performance. Pieces of bread as breakfast isn't enough, have real foods on your table. I always make sure to serve and eat sufficient food in the morning. For my kids, I always give them meat and soup accompanied with rice. They just can't get out of the house without eating rice. As I have experienced in my childhood a lack of energy because I seldom eat my breakfast in the morning, I don't want my kids to grow up as I did. I am so skinny, though it runs with our blood, still, I know there's certainly wrong with my routines before. So breakfast is one of the most important periods daily in our family.

  • Getting vitamin D

I am so blessed to live in a place where there's a vacant area outside the house surrounded by trees. And every morning, I just can't skip strolling around to get some vitamin D from the sun. As we put up a garden, I love to hang out in my plants. I always check them and see through it that they're growing so well. While walking, my kids are always with me. They just can't get me off of their eyes and so they are with me. Walking is also a form of exercise, so it's a must every day. But if it's a rainy day, we can still walk but just inside the house.

  • Take a bath in the morning

I always take a bath in the morning, I can't go on with my chores if I haven't take a bath yet. Morning bath for me sets me into a good disposition the whole day. Since I am feeling refreshed right after, I am more eager and active in doing my day-to-day obligations. Also, I have experienced taking a bath late in the afternoon and after how many days, I got sick. Because I am tired the whole day, I recognized that having my full bath in the afternoon isn't good. But that's only based on my experience, I still enjoy half-baths in the afternoon but I always do a full bath in the morning.

  • Make an agenda for the day

I always make a plan of what to do on that certain day. It wasn't a plan set before the date, but it is always a sudden plan. And it's effective for me, whenever I plan for a laundry day, it is always postponed due to bad weather or something that came up. But if I'll do it out of a sudden, it'll be accomplished easily. Also, I put up an agenda on what to do in the afternoon. As I can't take off my eyes with the kids, I make sure to keep them in a nice mood. I play with them and let them explore by letting them play any wholesome activities they are up to.

  • Get myself moving

You always notice, I often posted on noise.cash on how busy I was the whole day in the real world. Simply because I am a super busy mom in the real life. And morning has been a part of my chores, I'm always busy tidying up the home. I have no time to sit and hold my cellphone for a long hour. All I can do is sit a little bit a dove around again. But regardless of it, I can feel that my muscles are really in good shape. I now understand why we should get up and move every morning, it is to keep our body, joints, and muscles moving too. It helps a lot in the circulation of our blood flow and avoids being lousy too. The more we move, the more we get ourselves energized. But always make sure not to overdo your body. Listen to your instinct and your body as well, no one knows you very well instead of you.

That's how I make the most out of my mornings, almost every day. It's like a routine but I didn't consider it as it is. But it is more of a part of me, being a morning or evening person isn't a big deal. Whichever of those you are as long as you're feeling great and fine is always okay.

But I can say, mornings play a vital role in how our day will turn out. Maybe because it's the first hours of the day that greets us. And it's up to us how we welcome it.

But to enjoy the day as a whole, we should never skip to enjoy the mornings!

Importante talaga na maganda ang gising at umaga mo para maging okay ang buong araw mo sis.

I don't have mornings at all we woke up late , and we can't also go outside because of covid-19, our place has numerous cases. We used to go out during morning to greet the sun but it changes during this pandemic. As we live in crowded place tsk.

Alam mo yung boss kong babae.. Kahit ang lakas lakas ng alarm sa tabi, abot hanggang labas ng bahay, hndi yan gigising 🤣 wala effect.. Ako tlga once tumunog ang alarm gising ako agad, at once isilat ko mga mata ko, hindi na makakatulog ulitnn Pero kakapagod minsan maging early riser.. . kulang sa tulog 😅

It is always great get up early in the morning. Yeah! In student life it is tough but being a mother you have to manage all the things. Daily routine work, hobby and kiddos breakfast and most of imp morning walk make every mom a special mom.

Our morning is the most important part of the day and it should not be taken for granted because it many times determines our productivity for the day.

Been a mother can make the morning very stressful because of the kids but it is worth the stress when it has to do with children. Wishing you a great and productive day.
