Money is a great human invention, a great tool to make our life easier, enjoyable yet, it could make your life miserable too if handled wrongfully.
People are busy making money every day, and what do you think their reason to earn? Of course to live comfortably in this world, and money is one of the things needed to live that kind of life. Let's not be hypocrites, we need money to live, to buy our needs, and to stay alive. But it shouldn't be the center of your world. Money should be utilized and controlled by you, don't let money control you.
But some people make money the center of their universe. That they treasure money the most than their own family. It's like, the respect is based on the digits of your salary. The lesser the lower respect. That's life, the reality and we can't deny it. Even here exactly to this platform, you can see how some users praise or acknowledge the generous tippers, some are purely appreciative and grateful, but some are only to capture their attention and expect to get something.
Well, that's because of money. Money makes other people go crazy and insane. That kind of people can be greedy, or needy, we can't certainly tell. In the real world, there are instances wherein you can come across a person who thinks about money the most. How much he can earn and how he can. And when that person losses his money, he will turn into a beast pinpointing everything to anyone weaker than him. Blame people for the mistakes and his βownβ faults to protect his ego.
But the pout will turn into a smiling face when someone handed him some cash. The mood will be altered and turned into an active one. That's how money can change something or someone in an instant. Yeah, that's the power of money, but some people forgot that they should be the one who has the power over money. But others were eaten up by money itself.
What makes our lives hard?
Because we're lacking wealth? Born poor and have no pockets in our wallet?
Yeah, it can be some reason, but always remember that we can always find ways to avoid and exit in this kind of situation. But never forget that money isn't the center of everything. Money is not the solution to everything you're facing. Don't forget your family, you might be busy making and reaching your goals, doing your works but don't you ever forget your family. Your wife, your children, you mustn't disregard them. Besides, why are you working? Why are you eager to earn and live? Think of the things that matter the most in you. I hope it's not the monetary value.
Make time and think twice again of your priorities in life. Also, sharing something with someone and expecting something in return is not helping and shouldn't be called a help. I've seen people in the real world saying they're helping out someone needy, but certainly, they're after something in return when time passes by. While some people are just unhappy with the things, they might see. That instead of being happy for someone's success, they're jealous about something that they can't possess that others may have. Contentment, maybe they're lacking that, wanting to overpower anybody else through making more money, it's insane.
You can't bring your money to your grave, that's the hard truth of life. Though I've not seen life after death, I believe you can't bring your material things and wealth in your death. But I do believe that money can't buy true happiness, but it can give you happiness. Temporary or not, it's still happiness.
Can you be happy if your stomach is grumbling? Living in a hut with holes on the roof that turns into a waterfall when it rains? Battling hunger and drought?
Sure, you can but you can't live like that forever. And you'll do everything just to vacate this kind of life.
When you use the money well, utilize it and share it wholeheartedly with the people you love, or with the needy of help, surely you'll feel happiness deep inside you if your intentions are pure. Yet, money is just a tool, an instrument to help ease your burden in life. But never make it the center of everything.
Learn to accept the reality that money isn't everything that you need to live merrily and comfortably. Sometimes it's in you, deep within you on how you face life and act to it. You don't have to be rich just to be the happiest person alive. You don't need to be jealous and obsess about the things you can't have. Learn to appreciate small things, even the cents that you have you don't need a bag of paper bills to be extremely happy, believe me, it's not all about the money. It's not about the tags, the brands you wear. It's about you and life, your deeds, actions, and your purpose.
You don't need to have a full-pocket just to make kind actions to the people you might come across. Even simple respect and care matter.
Don't let the money overpower you, control you or prevent you to be a good individual. In this money-centered world, keep being a value-centered person. A value that has to do with how much something is worth, especially in terms of importance. Know to look and understand the value of life, not the value of the bills in your hands.
