If we asked any painter how he experiences life, his answer would be something like this: "Life is a painting that is drawn without an eraser." This metaphor best describes life, because some things just happen and it is impossible to erase them from life.
Probably most people want to know what awaits them in the future. Some go to sorcerers and astrologers because of that, but, as much as they think they know what life brings them, they are mistaken. Life is expensive. We can never be sure what will happen during our lives and whether we have made the right decision.
We all make plans for the future, but we can never be absolutely sure that they will come true.
