From winter to summer ... a fractal lotus ...
A good night to have a nice fractal fire in the imaginary fractal fireplace in my neck of the woods...
Warm spices and a lemon ... some of my go-to items for autumn and winter ... cayenne and lemon and hot water to face a cold morning with as much energy as a cup of coffee provides, ginger boiled for ten minutes and then simmered for an hour to put with lemon juice to go warm to bed ... A little secret, though -- if it is TOO HOT where you are, take all three of these and boil them up. Drink as much as you can as hot as you can ... you will cool right down! I use my favorite things ALL YEAR!
These are called brown turkey figs ... not quite as good as, say, black mission figs, but still lovely for November! There is another fig tree close by that has orange figs, but I only see the old orange ones on the ground and I don't know if the ones left will ripen ... but if they do, they'll be in hand... meanwhile, the starry red figs will be ripe again next month, weather permitting!
Sunset from my little corner of the world ... hope all is well with all of you as night arrives here...
This photo from yesterday epitomizes the reality of mid-autumn here -- the maple trees are DEFINITELY saying, "Winter is coming!" but the palm tree represents summer saying, "Now, just wait a minute -- stop rushing it!" Yesterday was so warm that I was uncomfortably warm until 2:30pm ... and then by 11:00pm I was putting extra quilts on my bed ... as usual, summer and winter are fussing over what to do here... and LAST YEAR, summer won!
I put you all in the stormy seas two days ago ... went back to the fractal drawing board and made you a matching safe haven... from the heart...
Autumn leaves caught in a fractal wind, whirling and swirling around...
Out here because of recent storms we have had BIG waves ... some fractal versions I've made ... imagine being the captain who has to get his or her ship through THESE...

These are lilli-pillies ... miniatures to the rose apple more common in tropical portions of the world (Syzygium species) ... available to be picked along with a lot of other urban forage even into December ... I can pick a snack outdoors for about half the year here, so I do ... lilli-pillies are sharp and sweet and crunchy, and a nice handful is a refreshing snack on a walk!
A fractal autumn tree ... look for it again in another hue, in the spring...
I do love autumn ... a fractal art autumn heart i made with all my favorite colors ...
We need rain here, very much, and it is coming, but I enjoy days like this in autumn ...
Autumn in the park ... such a beautiful day ...
More showers of autumn gold in my local park...
Some mid-autumn fractal art ... the autumn leaves blow by my window ... this is a compilation of several versions of this made in Apophysis 2.09...
A golden magnolia type of afternoon and morning ... seen while picking fruit in one of my local parks ...
Ah, the glories of autumn ... showers of gold... ginseng trees are a common ornamental here, and there is nothing else quite like them for gold, although if I hunt around, I know they have some rich rivals...

Several years ago I considered joining Noise Cash, but the choice was between that and Hive (or its predecessor, because I cannot remember how far back that was) ... life has changed a great deal and I have room in my life for more community now, and so, onto Noise App! Thank you to Achim03 for the invite ... setting up my little (fractal art) home here...
