I made this drawing for the competition dedicated to Christmas.

Well, I just love angels)))

I imagined such a scene that an Angel on a cloud flies over a sleeping snow-covered winter city and holds in his hand the Star of Bethlehem, illuminating the darkness

I discovered in the new version of Photoshop (I then installed the CC 2018 version) amazing scatter brushes from designer Kyle T Webster

I tried to draw with them ... and I got such a magical background.

Then I find a colors for my main character and the town, try to stick to the original palette

I am working on the image of the Angel - outline the initial highlights on the face, the shape of the hair, the folds of the tunic, silhouette of wings behind the back

I turn on the lights in the houses

I revive the city - I add fences near houses, snow-covered trees, and snowdrifts jn the earth and on the roofs

I draw the image of an Angel

I want to give him a cute, truly angelic face

It remains to make him a golden glow over his head and give him a star in his hand

And some snowflakes falling from the sky

A quiet warm winter evening, when Angels fly over the world and give the magic of Christmas!
