Procedure
Peel the fruit, you can remove the seeds or not that's up to you. We removed the seeds for this version.
Sun dry the fruit. Mom told me that when she cook this fruit she sun dry it for 3 days because it taste better but my nephew just sun dried it for an hour. I watched a yt vid that she didn't sun dried it at all.
Put water to your casserole or pot. Depending on how many santol you will use, the water must be lower or almost the same level of the fruit when you put it on the pot.
Bring to boil. If it's boiling, add sugar. We used 1/2 sugar but it still depend on how much water and santol you'll add.
Wait till the water turn brown because the sugar is starting to caramelized. Remove the pot if the the syrup turns viscous then you can store it inside the refrigerator after few minutes that you remove it from fire.

Luto na ang adobo! HAHAHAH choss nadurog kasi pala dami tubig ko so lumambot na ng super kaka kulo kaya ayan durog mukhang adobo pero masaraaaap naglalaban ang tamis at asim yum yum sarap na dessert. Next time gagawa na ko na buo pa haha para maganda tignan lol
