SST: Christians| Keys to staying in control in the midst of the pandemic
Hello my dear friends of Read.cash, recently in my country the national government announced the implementation of new measures to counteract the spread of the virus since a new strain has arrived in our lands and several cases have been detected on Venezuelan soil.
Strain
A strain, in microbiology, is a population of microorganisms of a single species descended from a single cell or originating from a particular sample, which is usually propagated clonally, due to the interest in the conservation of its defining qualities. Wikipedia
So today I want to get back to talking about those keys that are important in order not to lose control in these days of confinement. I know that many of us had thought that this was about to end and that with the vaccine everything would soon return to normal, but the truth is that here in Venezuela this process was very slow and we don't know until when we will be safe and we will return to our normal life.
Of course I would also like to go to public places with peace of mind, to be in the street without fear, to feel protected and to protect others, but as best as I can I have understood that for now that is not possible and that we must stay at home, taking care of ourselves at home.
Today I want to repeat some phrases that have accompanied me from the first day that all this began and that are linked to hope "We will overcome" "We will go forward" "Hope is inside me".
Here I am today, thanks to God first of all, repeating these phrases over and over again and passing them on to others. After 18 months since all this started, here we are and the best of all is that we are well, healthy, strong, united. God has put me to the test and I believe that above all I have had a good attitude and I have tried to transmit it to others, it is important to give that confidence to those around me knowing that we are going to come out of all this well.
It is obvious that there is no magic wand that will solve this overnight, but what we do have is the ability to adapt and learn a lot of things, so today let's take a look at the keys to endure these remaining days and thus win this whole situation we are living through.
The first thing is to see things objectively.
If we look at the situation objectively, we will not deny what is happening, nor will we exaggerate our behaviour.
Take responsibility.
We must be in control of what we can control, worry and take care of what you can control, don't panic and don't suffer for what is out of your hands. A good attitude will make the road easier.
We can't control the people who don't pay attention, who go on the street without their mouths covered, nor can we control the people who party or don't comply with safety measures. If you allow yourself to suffer for those who don't comply with sanitary measures, you will go into a mental breakdown and you will be living in hell.
Be open to learn.
This pandemic is teaching us new things, it is changing us and making us new beings. We are learning new routines but we are also unlearning those things we were used to.
How nice it would be that when we look back on this quarantine or tell other generations about what we experienced here, we can tell them that it was something nice, that we learned to be together at home, to collaborate in household chores, that we enjoyed reading a book or watching a movie. I stress again that the best thing we can do is to have a good attitude, so I invite you not to be negative, do not think about death, but rather enjoy, enjoy, live life, laugh and take the good out of every day of what happens to us, that will make you grow, be more proactive and help you enjoy life even more.
If we organise ourselves by doing chores, doing family activities, taking time for yourself, meditating, praying with God, doing what you like to do to know yourself better, we will be able to enjoy life and get ahead. So don't just focus on the hard stuff, look for dialogues of hope and surround yourself with people who love you.

Hello, what you say is very true, in Venezuela we have had a crisis from all angles for more than 21 years. And now we have a pandemic. Only those of us who are Venezuelans will understand this popular saying that comes to the point: "Eramos muchos y pario la abuela" ("There were many of us and grandma gave birth"). Key words: attitude, positive mind, hope. 100% agree with you. Greetings.
